The BigBoi Deck is made for the Big Boys out there! (Anyone with long legs or roughly taller than 5 foot 10 Inch) or riders with a really wide stance. It measures 73cm from crease to crease & comes in 3 flex's to suit just about every rider weight out there.
To fit the Massive Monster Box you must have the BigBoi Deck. By doing so allows you to install the 21700 cell pack & achieve approx 35 miles or range.
The TRAMPA VERTIGO TRUCK is a slimmed down light weight version of the original Infinity Truck! Made in exactly the same way using FORGED Alloy for the HANGER, it has been CNC machined to cut out the bulk of the material, saving weight but without removing any of its critical strength. The VERTIGO hanger is also fitted with weight saving 12mm HOLLOW STEEL AXLES instead of the standard Solid axles found on the Infinity Truck. The Hanger is attached to an EXTRUDED & T6 HEAT TREATED Aluminum BASEPLATE which has also been CNC lightened. Comparing to the Infinity Truck the VERTIGO is over 20% lighter!! The Hanger & Baseplate "Kingpin Holes" are also CNC precision milled, allowing the Truck to assemble like a dream - everything fixes together perfectly enabling the VERTIGO TRUCKS to provide problem free precision riding!
NYLON BUSHINGS are inserted into the Hanger & Baseplate allowing a flush connection & to eliminate wear between the moving parts. Using a top quality 8mm STEEL KINGPIN, (which seriously reduces weight over the competitions products) connects the 2 integral parts together, allowing the steering to happen... Save money & weight by upgrading the Kingpin to a TITANIUM!
SPRINGS, loaded with TRAMPA DAMPA's are squeezed by hand, into the mounting positions between the Hanger & Baseplate. When anchored in position they give resistance to the steering. The steering resistance can be pre-set to your weight, riding ability & personal preference by changing the TRAMPA DAMPA to a stiffer/softer hardness. TRAMPA DAMPA's come in 5 different hardness's to suit all riding styles. The springs can also be ADJUSTED on the fly! By using a 4mm Allen Key you can further TUNE your steering by turning the SPRING ADJUSTER clockwise to give TIGHTER STEERING (fast riding) & turning anti-clockwise to give LOOSE STEERING (Carve riding). You can quickly adjust your board relevant to the conditions or terrain ahead... As your riding will improve over time you will demand more pre-tension from your steering, so dont over tighten your springs, instead change your Dampa's to something a little harder.
18.2mm spacers position the Wheels on the 12mm axles in the perfect location & 7/16ths of an Inch MGSS Half nuts screwed on at the end of the axle stop the wheel from working loose....
Ratchet Bindings - Black Straps on Black Foam with Black L Brackets & Ratchets
RATCHET BINDINGS are the Mountain Board rider’s primary choice of binding! The Ratchet Buckle mechanism allows you to easily position the binding to fit most adult sized shoes or boots. There is a release clip on the top of the Ratchet Buckle which works just the same as snowboard binding does, that release the pressure & allows you to step out...
The main Foot-Strap has a special 'Lug or locator' on the top of the Foot-Strap to house a special Hook that protrudes from the underside of Ratchet Buckle. This hook presses into the 'Lug' on the top of the Foot-strap preventing any sideways movement in the connection of the Strap & Ratchet Buckle
The Ratchet Buckle connects with a special M5 Star nut & M5x8mm Countersunk bolt & the Ratchet is mounted on the top of the Main Foot Strap. The LADDER STRAP Positions on the outside of the foot & feeds into the Ratchet Buckle. Levering the Ratchet buckle brings the two straps together. The Ratchet Buckle locks each time you lift the buckle tightening the two straps together until you have a snug but not tight connection over the top of your foot. The release clip can be tuff to move specially of your bindings have been ratcheted tight.
Ratchet Bindings work at their absolute optimum when combined with TRAMPA Heel Straps. HEEL STRAPS Completely lock your feet into any of the TRAMPA bindings to make you feel at one with the deck. When using Heel Straps you are 100% committed to the ride & by doing so you gain so much more control over the board.
With 3 pairs of different length Ladder Straps to choose from, the TRAMPA Heel Straps easily adjust to fit to any sized shoe that comfortably fits onto a Mountain Board . A CAMLOCK BUCKLE on one side of the strap is used to Lock the Ladder Strap on one side of your foot whilst a Ratchet Buckle is used on the other side for easy tightening/loosening adjustment. The Ratchet Buckle easily tightens the Ladder into the Heel Straps so that your foot is locked into a comfortable position!.
TRAMPA Heel Straps are universally fitting and are supplied with a Marine Grade Stainless Steel FITTING KIT as standard, so only take a few minutes to assemble.
ALL TRAMPA Bindings are assembled using a Marine grade A4 Stainless Steel hardware. The L-Brackets are 'multi positional' allowing the rider the exact foot-stance they require.
All TRAMPA bindings use Stainless steel Dome Headed Bolts, connected through the Footstrap into L-Brackets, ensuring no discomfort to the foot.

The second VESC controller capable of hibernating, your board can conserve power while not in use - reducing power consumption to just 20μA – less than the self-discharge rate of the batteries. Or with automatic power off, your VESC controller can switch itself off after a set amount of time.

In its development, no Mosfet switches were used - due to their tendency to eventually blow up one day. This saves on the additional costs of replacing them, & also adds to the longevity of the VESC 6 MKVI.
When we developed the VESC 75/300 controller, it was obvious that most of its features would be handy to have in the VESC 6 controller format. As a result, Benjamin Vedder took on the challenge and re-designed the entire PCB of the VESC 6 controller, to make new, powerful features available in a smaller & cheaper 60V rated package.
The VESC 6 MKVI controller features THREE PHASE SHUNTS & adjustable CURRENT / VOLTAGE FILTERS - detecting any motor attached more precisely and reliably than ever before. Consequently all kinds of motors now run as smooth as butter & react PERFECTLY LINEAR to throttle input commands.
You’ll also find an IMU chip fitted - featuring a gyroscope, accelerometers the VESC 6MKVI knows its 3D orientation in space, 3 axis acceleration values.
UAVCAN has been added to the firmware allowing to interact with commonly used flight controllers like the PIXHAWK ®* devices. An incredible 12,000 lines of code have been added for the new hardware releases. To make the VESC controller nearly indestructible, the low voltage rails were redesigned A-Z.
VESC-Tool software is now available as an Android™ and iOS™ compatible App, allowing you to configure your VESC or VESC controller array with only a few clicks. User specific PROFILES will let you change in between different setups with a single tap on the fly.

Introducing the Amazing WAND CONTROLLER
Frank Drenckhahn - King of design & production at TRAMPA & Benjamin Vedder - Creator of the VESC aka the 'Yoda of Electronics', spent the winter period of 2018/19 designing a revolutionary remote controller, with some new & very exciting 'E-Skate-specific-features' to work in direct relation with the VESC / TRAMPA series of products.
There are many basic remote control options already on the market, but none of them hit the high bar when it comes to features & reliability. Here at TRAMPA, we’ve experienced riding with in-sufficient, untrustworthy remotes. Consequently, we’ve always dreamed of holding a reliable, versatile, ever-lasting, informative & safe remote controller, that matches the outstanding performance of the VESC software & the TRAMPA equipment that they’d be so frequently paired up to. You should expect nothing less than magic whilst waving the WAND over TRAMPA assembled VESC Products!!
HARDWARE
High-end TRAMPA Electric boards deserve to be controlled with a high-end remote, you need to be 100% in control over the Monster under your feet! Personally, I always dreamed of something that feels nice in your hands, made of high grade material, with a little bit of weight to represent the same high quality level of our TRAMPA boards, and the cutting edge technology the VESC offers. This remote is made from 6061 T6 (Aero-grade) Aluminum with a sleek carbon fiber battery lid. You can see & feel the quality straight away.
REAL TIME DATA DISPLAY
The WAND is fitted with a circular high resolution OLED display that reveals all the crucial information you want to have at hand while riding your board. The screen might be small, but the list of data it shows is HUGE! You’ll be able to scroll through and see your current speed, average speed, amp draw, duty cycle, average watt hour draw, battery indicator (for both board & remote), recuperation and more to be added through firmware updates!
Whatever data the VESC captures can ultimately be displayed on the OLED screen. Benjamin even added in a few tools to display animated graphics, for ultimate pimpness!
SMART REVERSE
Ever over shot the junction & wished you could reverse a little to pull you back from the traffic? Well now with the WAND in your hand, pulling back on the Thumb Controller bringing you to a stop & keeping your thumb in the braking position will automatically instigate the Smart reverse feature which will ramp up enough Amps to switch the rotation direction of the motor but just at slow speed so that the board reverses you out of trouble..... A very very clever feature designed to keep our clients safe...
SAFETY & GESTURE Control: AN OUTLOOK TOWARDS FUTURE FW UPDATES
What is really exciting is the IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) inside The WAND... The IMU knows the exact orientation of The WAND in space and gathers acceleration values of all the space axis at the same time, acceleration, speed & elevation. Using the IMU, Benjamin will in future be able to code some really useful safety features, as well as some playful things. For instance; one day the remote will be able to tell if you take a tumble & will be able to stop your board safely. It will know when it is resting upside down on a surface, and refuses to send accidental signals to the board. Powering up when you pick it up & going to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity The WAND is smart enough to save its own battery! It can even be used as a water spirit level, helping you to align things perfectly! Expect some nice FW updates in the FUTURE. IMU features will become available over a period of time!
TRANSFORM YOUR REMOTE
On top of the features mentioned above, amazing piece of tech features the options to either be converted to a pistol grip style trigger remote, or to have an additional small trigger on the lower side to allow additional index finger control. I like to use my index finger to send acceleration commands, while using my thumb to send brake signal commands. Others want to use their thumb or index finger only. Much alike TRAMPA’s boards, these remotes are made to be customised around you!
SAFE KEEPING
We’ve all wasted too much time on the pre-riding ritual known as “Where the **** did I leave the remote?!” Well no more. We decided to equip The WAND with a Magnetic bottom panel. A small metal sheet or magnet attached to your board (stick a big washer to your Battery Box or similar), will keep your remote safe where it belongs all the time, or you simply keep your remote on the fridge, next to the car keys!
BATTERY LIFE
Battery life has always been an issue in the past. Sometimes you want to go out for a ride, but you forgotton to charge up your remote. Then after a quick charge, you end up worried that it‘ll die before the end of your ride.
When Frank & Benjamin designed this remote, ultra low energy consumption was a prime goal to achieve.
We chose to use standard AAA batteries, so that you can easily carry spares & swap them out - like changing the batteries on your TV remote, giving you ultimate confidence that you will never ever run out of battery. Two tiny AAA cells are good for 30 hours of constant operation. AAA cells are available at gas stations, supermarkets, drug stores, or even in a remote house in the middle of nowhere in a kitchen draw, should you get real desperate while out on your endless trails!
SOFTWARE & SUPPORT
We don't want you to have to buy a new remote because the software becomes outdated, so we made sure this remote would have a USB & SWD port, allowing you to easily flash the latest firmware, and unlock the latest features when they get released. This remote is future proof & will surprise you many times over its life. The Wand Firmware will be Open Source. COMPATIBILITY
This remote is fully compatible with the TRAMPA NRF Dongle. An NRF connection is required to pair the Controller to the VESC device. Depending on if or when you bought the dongle, you might need to update its firmware in order to make the connection to the controller though the VESC, which is a simple task. This remote is compatible with any ESC that is based on VESC technology, and running the VESC firmware. Simply plug the TRAMPA NRF Dongle into the UART port of your ESC.
CALIBRATION AND MULTIPLE BOARDS
This remote doesn't require calibration. A simple one click pairing procedure does the trick. This remote will become a solid partner to all your boards. No more need for multiple remotes for lots of boards, unless you want to ride out with your friends. In which case you can leave your old PPM remote receiver plugged in & switch over to that using the VESC-Tool App.
In order to connect The WAND to your VESC or VESC based ESC, you will need to do a Firmware update on that ESC. Simply plug the TRAMPA NRF Dongle into your VESC & pairing is pretty much automatic, just follow the on-screen instructions. The TRAMPA NRF Dongle can be updated to the latest, compatible FW, using the latest desktop VESC-Tool.

SO for example if you have 2x Electric Boards in your collection, (lucky boy) if they are both running a single 12s pack (i.e. 2x 6s 22000 mAh HRB Cells in the MONSTER Box or 6x 2s HRB 10, 12 or 16000mAh in the Underboard Battery Tray or the BEAST box's) then you can fast charge & balance 2 x Boards at the same time or if you only have 1x Board but you are running 2x 12s packs (i.e. 4x Zippie compact cells fit directly into the Monster Box using a Graupner charger you can only charge 1x 12s pack at a time so you will need double the time to charge 2x 12s packs if you have 4x Zippies cells unless you purchase another Graupner charger so you can then charge both cell packs at the same time - if this is the option you have selected, then it is also possible to boost the speed of the charge of your 2x Graupner chargers by placing a Booster charger before them) then this is the deluxe charge for you.
This charger is terribly expensive but it is everything the 2x Graupner chargers with a Booster box option tries to be. It can charge incredibly fast up to 15A, it has an internal booster with amp adjustment for charging & Balancing all kinds of cells. The best part about this charger is that you simply plug it in & it knows the cells you have, Its possible to mix up the balance cable connections when plugging in for the first time but it alerts you to this &you simply swap over the cables & it knows... (best practice is to mark the balance cables so you know in the future which one goes into which port without having to exchange them each time for guessing wrongly lol) simply select the amount of Amp charge you wish to put into it by pressing the select button (a low 2A charge will balance your batteries beautifully but will take a long time to do, where as turning the charger up to 15A will give you a fast boosted charge, which is great if the weather is amazing & you cant get enough riding on that day but its not good practice to fast charge your cells all of the time, so only fast charge when you don't have time to wait for a nice balance charger, but selecting a low to mid power option on a regular basis will keep your cells in the best operating conditions),
The ULTRA POWER Charger is not supplied as standard with Balance extension cables or XT90 Cables to plug into your batteries. We have acquired some Balance extension cables and have also made some nice 30cm TRAMPA Silicon charge cables with XT90 connectors on to make charging with the ULTRA POWER Charger to be really easy & fiddle free. The Cable kit is available at a discounted price when purchased with the ultra power charger, however the extension cables can be purchased anywhere on the internet and its not rocket science to make your own extension cables if you have the time to do this & will of course save you a few quid in the mean time.
