Shipping Guide

 

Delivery Options
Through an API Trampa Boards Ltd is able to offer full shipping services from FedEx, DHL & UPS and for low value purchases or items weighing less than 2kg can also be sent with Royal Mail. 
FedEx, DHL & UPS are premium services & additional charges may be applied to cover prepaid taxes the couriers pay on your behalf to ensure a swift delivery.
Royal Mail ties in with other national postal companies & is often a cheaper slower service. Royal Mail is the ideal shipping option for low value purchases & customers not in a hurry. Prepay tax fee's are usually not charged to Royal Mail customers, however tax may still be required to be paid before your delivery can reach you if your government wishes to charge this to you. We do not set local tax rules.
Once you have created an account & have put items into the basket, the different couriers companies API keys will be able to offer you all of the shipping services available to your destination. If one company doesn't offer a price then it doesn't deliver to that destination or not according to the API key we are plugged into.
If you then head to the check out page, you will see a drop down menu showing the different services. Different couriers specialize in different areas, i.e. FedEx into the USA & therefore sometimes not all couriers will show rates to your destination for a variety of reasons. All international shipments are sent tracked & signed for. Royal Mail & DHL collection time is 14:00 GMT, whilst UPS & Fedex collect a little later at 3.30pm. 

 

Tracking
The Tracking numbers will be sent to you from the couriers once the parcel has been collected. The Tracking number is also stored in your Trampa account. If you head to your hostorical purchases it shows there. From my own experience its good do download the app of the courier company and enter in your parcel number and then you get updates all the time. Text messages will be sent to the Mobile telephone number you will have added to your Trampa account.

 

Pricing
Prices for both domestic & international parcels will be calculated at checkout & will be based on the location of the delivery address in your Trampa Account & the total weight & dimensions of the parcel.

 

Insurance
All shipments are sent 100% fully covered by our shipping insurance. A 1% shipping insurance fee will be added to every order to cover this. 
If your parcel goes missing or not arriving or arriving damaged, then to qualify for an insurance claim then you must inform us within 14 days. Trampa Boards Ltd does not take responsibility for missing parcels where you have agreed for it to be left in a ‘safe’ place so please do not agree to leaving in a safe place as we are specifically not covered for this.

 

Customs
As Trampa Boards Ltd operates a fully integrated courier system with all the couriers it uses, the exact details & values of your purchase are forwarded to the courier of choice & from that information the official customs documents that travel with the items you have purchased (Commercial Invoice) are automatically generated, of which the values & details cannot be altered or adjusted in anyway. What you purchase is what you will be taxed on & the tax is collected in different ways;
UK Customers will pay 20% VAT tax to Trampa Boards Ltd on all purchases delivered inside the UK tax boundaries. Trampa pays this tax to the UK Government every 3 months.
NON UK customers purchase TAX FREE from Trampa Boards Ltd. 
NON UK customers pay the equivalent of UK VAT tax & quite possibly import taxes direct to their own Government (Depends on the importing countries rules regarding imports) when the goods arrive at the boarder of their country. To enable the couriers to be able to make a swift delivery to you, the taxes are prepaid to your government by the couriers, as the goods cross the boarders and then the couriers collect the tax back from you before they make the delivery to you, so please don't be surprised & be ready to pay any tax you are requested to pay promptly when you are contacted to do so, as delaying paying your VAT or import taxes will only add a delay to delivering your items to you, so pay promptly to get a fast delivery.
Its very common & now expected mostly for the couriers to place a small charge (Usually around 15 Euros or 15 Dollars) on top of the tax you are requested to pay for, this charge is applied as they pay the tax in advance on your behalf to enable them to be able to make a quick delivery to you. They will add their charge to the Tax bil.

 

Delivery Times
Please note delivery times stated below are a rough or general guide only, shipping & customs backlogs do happen from time to time, bad weather, busy holiday periods, COVID-19, union strikes etc, there is very little we can do & have no control over these matters. We have a good track record & its rare items we send ever go missing, but it has happened & is why we send everything insured just in case,

Orders are shipped on the same day we receive payment. Unless you select UPS or FedEx (who collect from us at around 3pm Monday to Friday), orders received after 2pm will generally be sent the next day. Full boards may take a little longer to assemble and depending on the order queue.

UK – 1- 3 days 

USA & Canada – 1-5 days

Europe – 2-5 days

Asia – 2-5 days

Australasia – 3-6 days

South America – 3-5 days

Shipping FAQ’s

I am missing an item from my order what do I do?
Please double check for missing small parts that can sometimes get stuck in the folds of the packaging. If an item is on your order but definitely not in your delivery please email us at info@trampaboards.com

Where is my order?
Track your order using the link sent to you from the couriers. The Track code is also stored in you Order History. If you think you should have already received your order & you haven't please don't delay in getting in touch with us to investigate.

How much will my customs fee be?
Customs fees are made up of import tax, duties, the amount to be paid depends on the goods and the country they are imported to. The tax will be charged at the rate in your country, usually around 20%. Duty rates range between 2% and 5% on our goods. Please check on your government import web page. The courier will also charge their own customs handling fee, these prices vary, please check with your chosen courier.

Can you reduce my invoice so i can pay less customs?
No sorry we cannot do this in any circumstances. The tax is taken by your government and is linked directly to our sales system. However please be reminded that you do not pay tax on the purchase of your items from us.
