M4 x 45mm Socket Capped TORX Bolt - Marine Grade Stainless steel with locking paste
TRAMPA's M4 x 45mm Socket Capped Bolt is made using A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. This very special Bolt is specifically made for TRAMPA & is used to assemble the TRAMPA PHATLADZ HUBS. The socket capped head of the Bolt screws neatly though the Spokes & into the fixing point in the Rim, eventually screwing into the M4 nut on the other side easly.
Weighing just 3 grams each, they are very lightweight, look very sexy & are totally non corrosive. Using Marine Grade Stainless Steel, means these Bolts will never rust on you! They can cope with the most harsh of weather conditions & they laugh in the face of sandy/salty beaches or muddy freeride tracks, which do turn other manufacturers Nuts & Bolts into corrosive rusting wrecks! As well as being Non Corrosive all of the TRAMPA Bolts are diped in BLUE THREAD LOCKING PASTE to ensure an extra strong secure fix between the Nut & the Bolt.
M4 Nyloc Nut - Marine Grade stainless steel Nylock Nut - Hub Nuts
Introducing TRAMPA's M4 (4mm Shaft) A4 Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M4 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK thread locking security System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts.
This Nut is used to fix to tighten to the M4 Socket Capped Bolts that hold the HYPA & SUPERSTAR hubs together. To fit the nuts M4 use an 8mm spanner or 8mm Ratchet Socket to turn the Nut onto the Bolt whilst holding the bolt with a 3mm Allen Key. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!
8 Inch Inner Tube PRIMO 8x2 inch 200x50mm - fits 3.75 inch Rims & 8 inch tyres
PRIMO's own 8 Inch Inner Tube has dimensions of 200mm (outer diameter) x 50mm (width) & will fit into all known 8 inch Tyres & ATB hubs on the market!
The CST PRIMO Inner Tube incorporates slightly thicker rubber into its manufacture process which means the tube is slightly heavier than alternatives but does allow the rider to inflate slightly higher. This extra thickness also gives some extra resistance to punctures, but punctures suck, so always carry a spare inner tube when you are riding as you never know when you might get one.
The PRIMO Tube uses a 90º Brass Inflation valve which will not rust on you & comes as you would expected with a plastic "anti dust" valve cap!

Measuring 3.75/4 (rim diameter) x2.5 Inch (rim width) the PHATLADS hubs are a half inch wider than regular 8x2 inch TRAMPA mountainboard hubs. The slimmer/inside half of the hub has straight sided, up to the edge spokes, where as the outer/fatter half of the hub is much wider & has Angled spokes. The Angled spokes give a Deep-Dish appearance whilst gaining the extra half inch width to give them the name PHATLAD's. The PHATLAD's have the same extrnal bearing housing measurement or axle space required to fit the 8x2 Inch TRAMPA hubs onto the 12mm TRAMPA axles of 34.2mm. This 'Off-Set' 34.2mm Bearing positioning means the wider hubs sit perfectly on the axle with no problems.
Increasing the Rim width increases the ground contact of any tyres fitted to them, giving a low wide look when the 6, 7 & 8 inch tyres are fitted & the PHATLADS Hubs are the perfect width fit for the larger 9 & 10 inch tyres to get maximum surface contact (GRIP) in the muddiest of conditions when contact is needed most!
Being 2.5 Inches wide but able to fit the smaller 3.75 inch tires, means that when fitting the smaller tires to the larger hubs that the profile of the tire is completely different... The wider rim will 'Stretch' the tire & give you even more surface contact, as its being stretched width-ways this will reduce the overall tire height, reducing your tire height is like changing your final gear in the drive on an E-Board & reducing the size of your wheel will give you faster acceleration but of course slower top speed.. Its interesting to try different combinations & using PHATLADS you have hundreds of combinations available to you..
TRAMPA's PHATLADS hubs will fit flawlessly to any of TRAMPA's OPEN BELT DRIVE, PRO BELT DRIVE & SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor mount setups as well as hundreds of alternative applications, it has quickly become the DIY'ers Wheel of choice....!!
There are two sets of Bolt holes running around the perimeter of the PHATLADS Hubs. The Outer set of holes are for the assembly of the Hub & require the M4 nuts being inserted into the nut housings on the thinner of the 2 parts & once the 2 parts are mated together the Shorter M4x45mm bolt should be threaded through from the fatter side of the hub tightening into then nut with a T20 TORX Key. This M4 nut is submerged & the bolt should not sit proud of the surface of its housing.
The Inner M4x50mm T20 TORX bolt holes of the PHATLADS hubs match the same screw pattern as any of the TRAMPA Slave pulleys suiting the 62 Tooth Slave Pulley when fitted with 6 inch tyres, the 66 tooth Slave Pulley when fitted with 8 inch Tyres & 76 Tooth Slave Pulley when fitting 9 Inch tyres.... Having 2 sets of Bolt holes allows the user to be able to remove the wheel from the assembly without deflating & disassembling the wheel, meaning they can HOT-SWAP their wheel. Being able to 'Hot Swap' your wheels without taking them apart saves you lots of time when it comes to creating different rider setups, after all a board with 6 inch wheels is completely different to a board with 9 or 10 inch Wheels!
It is possible to fit either the 12mm axle 6001-2RS Bearings & 9.525mm axle 16001-2RS Bearings into the bearing housing of the PHATLAD hubs & of course Bearing reducer sleeves can be used to reduce the 12mm bearings to either 9.525mm (TRAMPA's Mini Spring Trucks & 12FIFTIES Trucks use 9.525mm Axles) or 10mm axles if your axle should be 10mm not the imperial 9.525mm TRAMPA uses.
When fitting PHATLAD wheels on to 12mm TRAMPA Truck axles, you should install a 18.2 x 12mm Wheel Support Spacer onto the axle before then adding the first 12mm bearing, then slide on the Orange 16.5mm Internal Spoke Support spacer & then stretch on & roll into position the 10mm O-Ring. Do all that & then present the assembled wheel & carefully slide/push the hub/wheel into position. Place the 2nd bearing onto the axle & push into the assembly. Finally, screw on the 7/16ths Axle nut with your fingers & tighten up with a 16mm or 9/16ths spanner.

The PRIMO ALPHA Lite tyre is a super light-weight Off-Road Tyre. Using just 2 PR of the finest grade rubber & incorporating a very high TPI under its skin combined together these secret details reduce weight considerably, making its reputation as the worlds best Off Road 8-inch Tyre! When inflated the PRIMO ALPHA Lite tyre measures 200x50mm. The Tyre incorporates a 3.75 inch Steel Band into the rim to hold everything in position & it slips onto the TRAMPA hubs perfectly. The ALPHA tyre will fit to all known hub Brands that are used for Mountainboarding & Kiteboarding.
Made from relatively softish rubber the ALPHA tyre gives fantastic grip. Its design incorporates a wide center bead to allow & maintain straight line speed, whist its surrounding edges are beautifully sculptured wide grooves that supply high levels of grip regardless of the terrain type. - This tyre really is great for all off road applications.
The more you inflate your Tyres the faster you will roll! The official maximum inflation pressure set by the factory for the ALPHA Tyre is 50psi, but the ALPHA Tyres are made so well & the TRAMPA Hubs are so strong that our Crash test Dummies (I mean Team Riders) have been known to inflate these Tyres well beyond their recommended pressures with no problems to mention. Over inflating your tyres may lead to an explosion which could seriously injure you. If you do decide to go beyond the max inflation pressure ensure your nuts & bolts are tight & deflate back to a regular pressure after use.
