2wd Electric Mountainboard Deck - CUSTOM
Its your choice of Deck!! Taller riders, or riders with a long legs or riders who enjoy a wide stance, these riders should look to take take the 9/73 Deck fitted with WINGS. All other riders should take the 9/69 Deck fitted with Wings.
There are different flex Ply's in each both deck sizes to match the riders weight. The WINGS fix to the surface of the deck & allow the cables to be safely routed from the Monster Box, under the riders foot to the motors at the rear. The Wings are W Shape concave giving a comfortable feeling under-foot, they also increase the width of the deck from 9 to 10 inches...
• TRAMPA Decks can be used for everything from Big-Air & Free-ride to Electric & kite boarding.
TRAMPA's MOUNTAINBOARD DECKs have a fresh cut look over the original range of Mountainboard Decks. With a few simple modiciations to the cut out shape we have maxed out the stiffness of the shape as well as introduce the ability to be able to fit TRAMPA WINGS.
Whilst with the introduction of the 9/73 Deck Mountainboard deck has brought much relief to long legged riders! Produced from a complete new, it measures 4cm longer between the creases, in the foot stance area, which gives the taller riders or riders who love a wide stance all the space they need to spread their legs & finally ride comfy.
Both Decks can still used without WINGS if you do not wish to use them & as well as being used as a regular Mountainboard deck being ridden down a hill, the latest Mountain board shapes have been created more to perfect the fit with all of TRAMPA's incredible range of Motor Mounts, Battery boxes & Electrical products.
WINGS are an injection moulded riser pads that are screwed through & then secured into the surface of the TRAMPA Deck. The WINGS have a foot-hugging W-shaped concave surface, enhancing comfort under the foot & increasing Grip on the surface. Underneath houses an integrated cable routing channel to allow for safe un-interferred under-foot cable routing from the battery boxes to the motors at the rear of the Deck.
WINGS also increase the width of the deck from 9 to 10 inches!!! Being 10 Inches wide allows more comfort for a larger foot/shoe whilst adding extra leverage beneath the toes & heels, giving adult sized riders tighter turns & arguably deeper carving!
TRAMPA decks are considered the strongest & the most customisable decks on the market! They are best used when installed as complete electric decks from TRAMPA & highly versatile for DIY'ers looking to mix things up.
Our Deck performance is un-matched by any other brand! Once cooked our impenetrable composite weave is so strong that the secret material will not split or break in anyway. They come with a life time guarantee.
TRAMPA decks come in 2x lengths 9/69 & 9/73 & in several different Flex ply's (ply - the more layers of material added to the mould the stiffer the deck is) to accommodate any rider weight, in pretty much any environment, land, air & sea & regardless of which deck / ply you choose, or the environment that you use it in, because all TRAMPA Decks are sold as UN-BREAKABLE & to prove this we offer you a lifetime guarantee!
The stiffness of a TRAMPA deck is measured in "Ply", referring to how many layers of the secret formula material are used to make the deck. The more ply added, the stiffer & heavier the deck will be, ranging from 14-18ply in the 9/69 decks and 17-18ply in the Longer 9/73. The number 9 in the name refers to the width of the deck being 9 inches, whilst the 69 or 73 refers to the length of Centimeters (CM's) in the foot stance area. Yes we realise that's mixing up CM's with Inches, but it sort of sounds nice.... The most important things is that with all the different deck ply options over the 2 lengths we offer there’s a perfect TRAMPA deck for everyone!
TRAMPA decks are universally fitting, they can be drilled to fit all Truck or Binding systems known - this makes TRAMPA decks the perfect option when choosing an upgrade for your existing setup.
Throughout years the riders have put them to their paces and still nobody has ever broken a TRAMPA deck! Please see the Flexometer guides to help you find your perfect deck.
If you’re unsure as to what the best ply & deck is for you and would like some guidance then please fill in the "Which deck for is me questionnaire" by mailing this link.
Its Your choice!! Its possible to fit either the time proven 16 Inch Wide Precision Mountainboard SPRING Trucks or the new 17 Inch Wide TRAMPA-IR Double King-pinned Trucks to ANY of the TRAMPA decks with 35º Fixing Angles...
With Spring Trucks you have the ability to be able to adjust your steering resistance on the fly, by simply pressing in a 4mm Allen key into the Spring Adjuster that pokes out from the top of the Truck. Turning the Spring Adjuster clockwise tightens the steering resistance making it stiffer & more suitable for faster or off road riding... You can then increase the firmness of the spring by installing a DAMPA into the middle of the spring... A TRAMPA DAMPA is stack of 3 Urethane balls (the middle one being 50% larger) & the TRAMPA DAMPA supports the Spring as the turning happens giving a nice firm feel to the the turn.... Its possible to fit different hardness dampas in different corners of the deck to give you a real true custom feel...
There are 7 options of Shore hardness of DAMPA (steering resitance) (8 options if you include riding with NO Dampa for the latimate steereing experience) AND as the SPRINGS can be installed in the inside or outside postions, that means there are in total 16 different steering settings when using the SPRINGS in the TRAMPA Spring Trucks, and now there are even more options, its possible to install the TRAMPA BARRELS with special Anodised BARREL RETAINERS... The BARRELS are Hollow Tubes of rubber with a relatively firm hold compared to an un-supported spring (Un-supported by a Dampa installed in the spring) so the Barrel has a nice firm solid feel from the start of the steering...
Its possible to install different thickness Barrel retainers (4mm is standard, we offer 5, 6 & 7mm as upgrades), by instaling a thick base Barrel Retainer will in turn increase the steering resistance making for a firmer, tighter steering on the ride... great for speed and larger sized riders...
Both Truck options come in a huge array of anodised colours to choose from & BOTH Stles of Truck will accept ANY of the Mountainboard Motor Mounts That TRAMPA has to offer
TRAMPA's Wheel options are not only all very visually appealing, but the different combinations & material options we offer, including Bearing position options & Bearing size options to pretty much suit all Boards on the planet, as well of the thousands of alternative applications they are used for & all with connectable motor pulleys in the perfect tooth size to give harmonious gearing to match to the size of the assembled wheels with, the appearance & application options and connect-ability is quite fantastically endless....
HYPA Wheels are TRAMPA's Original 6 spoked hub. Using genuine DuPont materials we Plastic inject premium grade Glass/Nylon into a mould. The Superior 6 spoke design gives incredible strength to weight, although they are the cheapest hub TRAMPA offers in the range it is almost un-herd of for these to ever fail, however, being 6 spoked, it is not possible to fit them to the SPUR GEAR DRIVE Slave Pulleys or the 76Tooth OPEN BELT DRIVE Slave Pulley.
SUPERSTAR Wheels are TRAMPA's 2nd hub design. Using the same Plastic injection factory, material & technique to make the center set outer rim, we added Extruded T6 Heat Treated & Anodised 5 pronged spokes that push into the plastic housing & are supported in the center with a Spoke Support Spacer, M4x 40 Bolts push through the entire connection & nutted tight on the other side with M4 Nuts. The M4 Nuts can be removed from the assembly & 44 Tooth Slave pulleys, the 66 Tooth Pro Belt Pulley, or the SPUR GEAR DRIVE can be fitted directly to the hub. Fitting M4 Hex Spacers when connecting the wheels instead of the M4 nuts means you can then using M4x10 Cap or Dome Head bolts, bolt on a 62, 66 or 76 Tooth OBD Slave Pulley, or
CUSTOM BINDINGS - Build your own Bindings & colour combo!
RATCHET BINDINGS are the Mountain Board rider’s primary choice of binding! The Ratchet Buckle mechanism allows you to easily position the binding to fit most adult sized shoes or boots. There is a release clip on the top of the Ratchet Buckle which works just the same as snowboard binding does, that release the pressure & allows you to step out...
The main Foot-Strap has a special 'Lug or locator' on the top of the Foot-Strap to house a special Hook that protrudes from the underside of Ratchet Buckle. This hook presses into the 'Lug' on the top of the Foot-strap preventing any sideways movement in the connection of the Strap & Ratchet Buckle
The Ratchet Buckle connects with a special M5 Star nut & M5x8mm Countersunk bolt & the Ratchet is mounted on the top of the Main Foot Strap. The LADDER STRAP Positions on the outside of the foot & feeds into the Ratchet Buckle. Levering the Ratchet buckle brings the two straps together. The Ratchet Buckle locks each time you lift the buckle tightening the two straps together until you have a snug but not tight connection over the top of your foot. The release clip can be tuff to move specially of your bindings have been ratcheted tight.
Ratchet Bindings work at their absolute optimum when combined with TRAMPA Heel Straps. HEEL STRAPS Completely lock your feet into any of the TRAMPA bindings to make you feel at one with the deck. When using Heel Straps you are 100% committed to the ride & by doing so you gain so much more control over the board.
With 3 pairs of different length Ladder Straps to choose from, the TRAMPA Heel Straps easily adjust to fit to any sized shoe that comfortably fits onto a Mountain Board . A CAMLOCK BUCKLE on one side of the strap is used to Lock the Ladder Strap on one side of your foot whilst a Ratchet Buckle is used on the other side for easy tightening/loosening adjustment. The Ratchet Buckle easily tightens the Ladder into the Heel Straps so that your foot is locked into a comfortable position!.
TRAMPA Heel Straps are universally fitting and are supplied with a Marine Grade Stainless Steel FITTING KIT as standard, so only take a few minutes to assemble.
ALL TRAMPA Bindings are assembled using a Marine grade A4 Stainless Steel hardware. The L-Brackets are 'multi positional' allowing the rider the exact foot-stance they require.
All TRAMPA bindings use Stainless steel Dome Headed Bolts, connected through the Footstrap into L-Brackets, ensuring no discomfort to the foot.
The L-Brackets are 'multi positional' allowing the rider the exact foot-stance they require
TRAMPA's huge range of bindings are the most customisable on the market - meaning you’ll be able to get the perfect fit for your riding style - in any colour scheme you can think up.

16mm PRO BELT DRIVE Motor Mounts with PULLEYS - NO Motors & NO Filters
TRAMPA's Generation III PRO BELT DRIVE Motor Mount is a work of art! Made predominantly from T6 Aluminium, every piece has been precision made to give simple assembly & maximum performance.
The Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will give you the same kind of performance as experienced when riding an Enduro Motor bike, it uses a lower gearing ratio of 4.71:1 giving a higher top speed when compared to the Spur Gear Drive setup - which has a higher gear ration of 5.9:1 (for better acceleration).
The Gen III Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will only fit to Precision CNC Hangers, using TRAMPA's special Conical Clamping system to securely attach onto the Hanger. The Assembly of any of the Pro Motor Mounts is incredibly sturdy & robust; perfect for the rough terrain they’ll be ripping across.
Accommodating a 66 Tooth Slave pulley, it is possible to adjust your gearing by swapping between 13, 14 or 15 tooth Motor pulleys. 13 tooth motor pulleys are perfect for hill climbing, whereas 15 tooth pulleys will achieve a higher top speed, & 14s are a nice balance between the two.
You can further adjust the performance by changing the Rear Drive wheel size. Changing from 8” to 9” or 10“ Tyres has a massive effect on the performance of the board. Check out the Pro Belt gearing chart to see estimated top speeds of different tyre & pulley combinations.
It is only possible to fit the TRAMPA 5 Spoke Hubs to Pro Drive Slave Pulleys. This means the 5-Spoke Superstar & Megastar wheels fit no problem. However it is only possible to run 8 – 10 inch tyres on the Pro Drives, due to low clearance around the housing tubs.
Enclosed within the Motor Mount tub is the Belt Tension Roller - a Bearing Mounted in Aluminium housing, that guides the belt into the optimum position/tension, to maintain the max amount of grip between the belt & the pulley.
Its possible a belt can snap for a variety of reasons. If you’re the kind of rider that likes to go off into the wilderness, then you should always ride with a couple of spare belts (when one snaps, chances are the other isn’t far off). TRAMPA's Pro Belt Drive utilises two special cut-outs that ‘ejects’ broken belts from the housing – slimming the chances of snapped belts jamming up the Motor Pulley.
The best way to prevent a belt snap is to check over & replace the Pulleys & belts on a semi-regular basis - BEFORE they have chance to fail on you. Riding, accelerating & braking hard will wear out your belts & pulleys faster. We recommend you service your board every three rides, or after any particularly tough ride. Check the hardware is tight, the belts aren’t worn, & for any damage, particularly to the motor mounts/trucks. Ensure the tub is free from any dust/dirt. Servicing your board is important for keeping it running smoothly, as well as for your safety when riding.
TRAMPA's Generation III PRO BELT DRIVE Motor Mount is a work of art! Made predominantly from T6 Aluminum, every mm has been precision made to give you simple assembly & maximum performance.
The Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will give you the same kind of performance as that experienced when riding an Enduro Motor bike, it is uses a lower gearing ratio of 4.71-1 to give a higher top speed when compared to the Spur Gear Drive setup which has a higher gear ration of 5.9-1 & will accelerate even faster than the Pro belt drive setup but the Spur will not reach the same top speed as the Belt.
The Gen III Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will only fit to the Precision CNC Hangers using TRAMPA's special Conical Clamping system to tighten onto the Hanger. The Assembly of any of the Pro Motor Mounts is incredibly sturdy & robust, perfect for the dirty rough roads ahead.
Accommodating a 66 Tooth Slave pulley it is possible to to adjust your gearing by fitting the 13 or 14 tooth Motor pulley. Adding the 14 tooth will increase your top speed but will also effect your acceleration as the 13 tooth will accelerate faster than the 14 tooth, but will not achieve the same top speed of the 14 tooth.... :-)
You can further adjust your gearing by changing the Rear Drive wheel size from 8 inch Tyres to 9 inch Tyres & now its possible to even fit 10 inch Tyres!! but 10 inch Wheels will require the 13 tooth Motor pulley to turn the Pro Belt Drive as the increase in tyre size has a massive effect on the performance of the setup & therefore you should not expect to be able to climb up the steepest of hills when using the 10 inch tyres unlike the regular 8 inch wheel boards can do with no problem at all.
It is only possible to fit the TRAMPA Wheels that have 5 Spokes to the Pro Drive Systems... this means the 5 Spoke Superstar wheel fit with no problem however it is only possible to run 8 inch wheels or larger on the Pro Drive Setups as there is no clearance around or in particular below the Gearing housing, so only 8 inch Superstars will fit this
Enclosed within the Motor Cover housing is the Belt Tension Roller which is a Bearing Mounted in a Aluminum housing that turns with the belt guiding the belt into the optimum position/tension to gain max grip on the Pulley, also allowing the adjustment in tension on the belt....
Its possible a belt can snap for all kinds of reasons. If your the kind of rider that likes to go off into the wilderness and your riding a belt Drive system of any kind then for sure you should always ride with a spare or maybe even 2. TRAMPA's Pro Belt Drive has 2x holes to allow a broken belt to escape out of the system in a a worlds first attempt to prevent the likely hood of if a belt should snap that it wil not get jammed up with the Motor Pulley inside the motor mount cover which has been known to bring the wheel to an immediate stop, which we all know is not good, so having these 2 release holes and the special Belt guider on the inside of the tub, we hope to be able to say we have prevented the belt jams that can be experienced when a belts snaps...
The Best way to prevent a belt snap is to check & replace your Pulleys & belts on a regular basis and before they have chance to fail on you. Riding hard, accelerating and braking hard, will wear out your belts & pulleys much faster... it is in my experience that regardless of how well sealed we try to make the housings bits of shit can get still into the assembly. so you should disassemble your setup from time to time, inspecting all the import parts, like Teeth on pulleys, Teeth on Belts, make sure things remain tight and have not rattled themselves loose etc....
Its your choice of Deck!! Taller riders, or riders with a long legs or riders who enjoy a wide stance, these riders should look to take take the 9/73 Deck fitted with WINGS. All other riders should take the 9/69 Deck fitted with Wings.

TRAMPA's Electric Mountainboards are amazing! Just about every component can be hand selected & pretty much every board we make is unique to the customers personal requirements.
TRAMPA's amazing un-breakable Decks are available in 2x lengths & they both offer a variety of stiffness's (ply's) for you to select from. Selecting the correct deck is very important, if you are unsure which is the best deck for you then follow this link, fill in the info required & ask for advise from Ted.
TRAMPA Electric decks are now all fitted with the TRAMPA WINGS as standard. The W shaped concaved WINGS not only feel very comfortable under the foot, they also increase the width of the deck from 9 to 10 inch's, they give the cables some where to be safely routed out of the way under the foot & finally by fitting the WINGS also helps tighten the flex of the deck somewhat resulting in a stiffer deck using less expensive material.
Using a LOW GEAR RATIO of 4.7 - 1 (using a 66 tooth Slave with a 14 tooth Motor Pulley) TRAMPA's 16mm PRO BELT Driven Electric Mountainboards will take you to the very highest speeds achievable! This lower gearing ratio is perfect for people who do not ride in the steepest of hilly areas, of course it will go up relatively steep hills because its so powerful already, but is therefore much more suited to when riding on harder surfaces such as urban roads or gravel paths where higher top speeds can be more sensibly achieved.
The Pulleys & 16mm Belts are housed within a super strong heat-treated T6 Tub thats been CNC’d from a solid block of Aluminium. Although it adds a little bit of weight compared to the OBD setup, the toughened sealed off tub ensures all the moving parts within are kept safe from the elements including protection from hard knocks & bumps that are par for the course when riding off road...
In the case of a belt snapping in the tub, the tub has specially designed quick release cut-outs that force the snapped belt to eject out instead of potentially jamming up the pulleys & causing a wheel lock. The Belts are perisable and will wear out over time. When they run out you may experience slip. If you get slip then you need to change your belts. Constant slipping will wear out your belt and eventualy it will snap. Its rare for belts to break without an incident or without being replaced after a fair amount of use. certainly if no maintaninence is done then snapping a belt can happen without any expectation. You should service regular and at minimum check over your board before each ride, always ride with 1 a spare belt just in case and dont get caught short in the wilds with no tools to change it.
The Pro Belt Drive is Strong, Reliable & Time proven as being very good as well as being low in maintenance its also easy to service & modify... Depending on what motor you choose & of course depending on whether you fit 13, 14 or 15 tooth Pulleys will drastically alter the Torque performance & Top Speed the board can achieve... fitting the wider Savage or TRAMPA-IR trucks you can install the latest 6386 motors to gain insane torqe!
You will need to supply your own Batteries to make the TRAMPA Electric Boards move. There are many options when it comes to the cells... depending on your ride requirements (Range) & budget will determine the sort of cells you should purchase. Of course people ask us all the time what cells to use & there are hidden issues with some cells, such as Availability, or price, or shipping restrictions, wrong connectors, or complexity of build (specially when it comes to making your own Custom build batteries) & well taking all these factors into consideration we have found some regular supply with good performance cells from a few different suppliers & we have consequently built our Battery Boxes around them... Easy :-)
We recommend you service your board every three rides, or after any particularly tough ride. Check the bushings & hardware is tight, that the belts aren’t worn & for any damage, particularly to the motor mounts/trucks & Kingpin bushings. Inspect, clean & ensure the tub is free from any dust/dirt. Servicing your board should be enjoyed nearly as much as riding it. Servicing your board is important for keeping it running smoothly, as well as for your safety when riding it.
