TRAMPA's Generation III PRO BELT DRIVE Motor Mount is a work of art! Made predominantly from T6 Aluminium, every piece has been precision made to give simple assembly & maximum performance.
The Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will give you the same kind of performance as experienced when riding an Enduro Motor bike, it uses a lower gearing ratio of 4.71:1 giving a higher top speed when compared to the Spur Gear Drive setup - which has a higher gear ration of 5.9:1 (for better acceleration).
The Gen III Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will only fit to Precision CNC Hangers, using TRAMPA's special Conical Clamping system to securely attach onto the Hanger. The Assembly of any of the Pro Motor Mounts is incredibly sturdy & robust; perfect for the rough terrain they’ll be ripping across.
Accommodating a 66 Tooth Slave pulley, it is possible to adjust your gearing by swapping between 13, 14 or 15 tooth Motor pulleys. 13 tooth motor pulleys are perfect for hill climbing, whereas 15 tooth pulleys will achieve a higher top speed, & 14s are a nice balance between the two.
You can further adjust the performance by changing the Rear Drive wheel size. Changing from 8” to 9” or 10“ Tyres has a massive effect on the performance of the board. Check out the Pro Belt gearing chart to see estimated top speeds of different tyre & pulley combinations.
It is only possible to fit the TRAMPA 5 Spoke Hubs to Pro Drive Slave Pulleys. This means the 5-Spoke Superstar & Megastar wheels fit no problem. However it is only possible to run 8 – 10 inch tyres on the Pro Drives, due to low clearance around the housing tubs.
Enclosed within the Motor Mount tub is the Belt Tension Roller - a Bearing Mounted in Aluminium housing, that guides the belt into the optimum position/tension, to maintain the max amount of grip between the belt & the pulley.
Its possible a belt can snap for a variety of reasons. If you’re the kind of rider that likes to go off into the wilderness, then you should always ride with a couple of spare belts (when one snaps, chances are the other isn’t far off). TRAMPA's Pro Belt Drive utilises two special cut-outs that ‘ejects’ broken belts from the housing – slimming the chances of snapped belts jamming up the Motor Pulley.
The best way to prevent a belt snap is to check over & replace the Pulleys & belts on a semi-regular basis - BEFORE they have chance to fail on you. Riding, accelerating & braking hard will wear out your belts & pulleys faster. We recommend you service your board every three rides, or after any particularly tough ride. Check the hardware is tight, the belts aren’t worn, & for any damage, particularly to the motor mounts/trucks. Ensure the tub is free from any dust/dirt. Servicing your board is important for keeping it running smoothly, as well as for your safety when riding.

These Spacer-Axles have two functions, correctly positioning the 20mm Tension Roller, as well as providing the housed 608 bearing a snug-fitting axle to spin freely on.
This ia 415mm long x 20mm wide High Torque Drive (HTD) Re-enforced Rubber Belt, which has 5mm Tooth Spacing (5M). This Belt is High Power rated (HP) & arguably over engineered for our application as the belt is made in Germany by the world famous company called STRONGBELT, who usually supply into heavy industry public sector applications which demand much more stringent requirements of any electric skateboard! This belt is used to transfer the power from the Motor & Motor Pulley into power at the rear wheels of a TRAMPA Electric Mountainboard.
TRAMPA opted to set a new standard in E-Skating, becoming the first in the world to fit to all of its E-Boards, a 15mm wide TRANSMISSON BELT. Our standard 15mm belt is almost double the width of nearly all other E-Sk8's out there, they tend to use a flimsy off the shelf 9mm transmission belt which are prone to stretch, slip & ultimately snap. Using a re-enforced 15mm wide High Power Belt reduces stretch, eliminates slip & as a consequence provides a constantly smooth whilst incredibly intuitive power delivery direct to the rear Drive Wheels of your board. This Motor has many NEW features that increase both hardiness & efficiency!
- Improved thermal design; with a more thermally-connected-mass, heat can dissipate much more efficiently. The new Rotor bodies feature raised rings that increase surface area, further helping heat dissipation.
- Stronger Hardware; larger & stronger bolts have been used throughout the motor, improving the motor’s strength & sturdiness, while making maintenance a lot less fiddle-y.

All TRAMPA Motors use Premium high-temperature Copper & the highest grade of Neodymium Magnets available. The magnets connect to an Extended & Heat treated 8mm Steel Axle shaft that's locked in a balanced position with 4 precision Bearings. All screws & fixings used in the assembly are Marine grade Stainless Steel. All creating super-tough motors that can easily out-perform the competition!
Our special design allows you to fit mesh filters, or entire Motor housings, preventing the impregnation of particles entering in the motor & stopping them running smoothly. The motor Stators are equipped with twelve M4 threaded mounting holes, sitting on a 44mm diameter circle. The extra holes allow the motor to be mounted at the exact angle needed so the motor cables always sit in the perfect angle, towards the mount or deck.
Using 38.5mm x 8mm Heat-Treated Hardened-Steel Motor Shaft (fitted with a 12x3x3mm KEYWAY locator as standard), the extra length of the Axle allows us to add adequate support with Motor Axle Supports, & allows us to fit Extra wide Motor Pulleys for the 15 - 20mm wide HTD 5M STRONGBELTs we use as standard, guaranteeing a much stronger power delivery.
Two 3x3x12mm KEYWAYs lock the Axle shaft at both ends (1 to the Rotor & 1 to the Motor Pulley), eliminating any & all "Motor slip", & providing maximum performance to the rider, while gaining critical data for the VESC speed controller.
The Heavy Duty & high quality power cables use 4mm Gold Plated Bullet Connectors to connect to a power source.

As the 20mm wide 66 Tooth OBD Pulley is supported / mounted on the axle with a press fitted bearing, when you then include the 2x bearings in the wheel, there are therefore 3 points of mounting contact on the axle in the assembly of the Motor drive when fixing to the wheel giving a very nice well balanced secure fit ensuring maximum performance at all times.
The power of the TRAMPA Motors is huge & to have the power spread across the axle is important to the delivery of smooth performance...
The 66 Tooth Pulley needs to be correctly positioned on the axle to ensure the belts align perfectly with a 9.5mm spacer.
So if you don't already have one, then you WILL NEED a 12x 16x 9.5mm Spacer to position the pulley & wheel in the perfect location on the axle to acquire maximum Torque
You may also need some M4 x 20mm Hex spacers & M4 x 10mm Dome Head TORX Bolts to fit this pulley to your wheel....
As this Pulley has 5 spokes, it is specifically designed to only fit to any the 5 spoke hubs that TRAMPA produces. So TRAMPA's SUPERSTAR 8 or 9 inch Megastar & PHATLADS hubs...
Custom 20mm wide Steel Motor Pulley 13, 14 or 15 tooth
TRAMPA's 20mm wide 13-15 Tooth Motor Pulleys connect directly to the Motor Axle & are secured into position using a Magnetic Fixing Key & 4mm Locking Grub Screw.
This custom made Motor Pulley Wheel fits 20mm wide STRONGBELTS, which should never stretch or break whilst at the same time providing a very smooth power delivery to the user - even from a standing start.
Changing your Motor Pulley &/or Drive pulley wheels will drastically change the performance of your ride... :-)

TRAMPA's Motor Axle Shaft to Pulley KEYWAY measures 3 x 3 x 8mm. It connects into the Motor Pulley when mounted onto the motor Axle Shaft & is used to center the pulley on the Axle & to assist in delivering all the power from the motor without slip! This KEYWAY will fit to all TRAMPA motors amongst others.
TRAMPA's Axle length measures 38.5mm (from motor housing to end of shaft) & has a Diameter of 8mm. The centre of the key (3 x 3 x 8mm) sits 16.70mm away from the Motor front. Front side of Motor to Center of Key! Deduct 4mm & you have the length from front side of motor to the start of key....
PRO BELT TUB - Fits to both V2 16mm & V3 20mm Pro Belt Tub Covers
CNC’d from a solid block of T6 heat-treated Aluminium, the V3 PRO BELT MOTOR MOUNT TUB is built around keeping the drive train securely & accurately attached, while running as smoothly as possible. Paired with the specially designed CNC’d COVER, the completed tub keeps the elements outs, the gears & belts clean & dry, & the whole board running smoothly.
Attaching T6 Aluminium BASH GUARDS (left & right) ensures the Tub will survive every knock & bump the drive system is bound to receive on a ride.
Special cutouts on the sides of tub allow snapped belts to be ejected out & away from the drive train, preventing any jammed gears or wheel lock.
The Tub is perfectly symmetrical allowing it to slide onto left or right drive trains.

M6 Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut - Fixes Bindings & Trucks to Deck
Introducing TRAMPA's M6 (6mm Thread) A4 Grade Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M6 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts.
This Nut is used to fix to the Regular shaped M6 Bolts that hold the TRUCKS to the DECK for the HOLYPRO Decks & also for the countersunk bolts connecting the L BRACKETS TO the DECKs. Use an 10mm spanner or SOCKET for a Ratchet Driver to tighten the Nut onto the Bolt. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!
M6 Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut - Fixes Bindings & Trucks to Deck
Introducing TRAMPA's M6 (6mm Thread) A4 Grade Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M6 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts.

7/16ths Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Axle HALF nut (W7/16-20T UNF) - Fits to 12mm Axles
This very special 7/16ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nyloc HALF NUT is custom made specially to fit the TRAMPA products. Half nut means - half as the size of a regular nut, so half the size = half the weight of a normal nut.. By using Half nuts on the axles reduces the over all length of the axle & kingpin therefore further reducing weight in the Truck! A few Grams here & a few grams there soon adds up & makes all the difference to the total Truck & consequently deck weight, specially in critical areas of the deck such as the wheels area, where a few grams makes all the difference...
This very special 3/8ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Half Nut official factory measurements are W7/16 - 20T - UNF. This Nut is used to hold the wheels onto the axles of the Spring Trucks fitted with 12mm axles. The Nut is fitted as standard with the world renowned NYLOC System. The Nyloc "locks the Nut onto the Bolt" eliminating vibration, keeping your nuts tighter for longer!
Use a 16mm or 5/8thths of an Inch spanner to tighten / loosen the Nut onto the Axle or Kingpin. Do not overtighten the nut & make sure the wheel can spin freely but does not rattle & do not crush your bearings. Being Marine Grade Stainless Steel this nut will not rust you! Always ensure all ur nuts are tight before you ride!
This special Spacer measures 12mm (id) x 16mm (od) x 18.2mm (long) & has 2 uses!. It is firstly known as the Bearing Support Spacer as this Spacer fits between the Bearings of a 6 Spoked HYPA Hub, (when mounting the HYPA wheel onto 12mm Axles) & secondly it is also known as the AXLE SUPPORT SPACER as this spacer is also used to position any of the TRAMPA wheels in the perfect position onto the axles of 12mm TRAMPA Spring trucks....
TRAMPA spacers are produced as one long tube. The Tube is Heat Treated to gain extra strength & is then Bead Polished to give the metal extra surface protection & a shiny best appearance. The tube is then cut to the exact length for precision mounting.

The INFINITY Baseplate will fit to all of the TRAMPA Spring Truck Hangers but is designed specifically to work in conjunction with the Mini Spring Hanger as it houses a NEW Dual Spring Adjuster position! When the Springs are moved to the new inside position, the new location allows the rider to turn the board very very easily, making it perfect for fast carve riding on all kinds of terrain. The INFINITY Baseplate is, as its name suggests, designed & built to last forever! Aircraft grade 6061 Aluminum is forced through a Die to create our re-enforced extruded profile. Extruding Aluminum ensures consistent high quality strength. Once Extruded the Baseplate is T6 Heat Treated. Heat treating extruded aluminum fuses the molecules even closer together making it as strong as possible, enabling the INFINITY Baseplate to easily cope with the extreme stresses of all types of off road boarding.
Once Heat Treated, the profile has its fixing holes punched into position & then its Bead Polished in preparation to be Anodised Silver. Once the colour has dried, the Baseplate is then returned to the factory for the precision CNC Machine to accurately mill the Kingpin holes, giving the exact precision required for constructing the Truck.
The INFINITY HANGER is the strongest SPRING TRUCK Hanger in the TRAMPA product range! To ensure the maximum strength possible the hanger body is made from FORGED ALUMINUM and is one solid piece - with no weight saving holes !
These Hangers have been CNC'd for precise and secure motor mount attachment.
The Axles have also been HEAT TREATED. Heat treating steel makes it substantially stronger & more resistant to impact. 12mm Solid Steel Axles are slightly heavier than alternatives displayed on the TRAMPA website, but they are by far the strongest Axles in the TRAMPA range. Marine Grade Stinless steel GRUB SCREWS help keep the Axles locked into the correct place within the Hanger.
A CNC milling machine is used & guarantee's to drill the Kingpin Holes accurately. Ensuring the Kingpin Holes are accurately placed guarantees the best performance to the rider, as well making the truck easy to assembly & service. The Infinity Hanger is EDP painted MATT BLACK for metal protection & colour coordinating good looks before the CNC work is carried out.
The Infinity Hanger measures 16 Inches in total width. When the wheels are fitted to the Hanger, the board has a center wheel width of 14 Inches. The Infinity hanger will fit to all TRAMPA Baseplates.
TRAMPA's Infinity Hanger uses 2x 18.2mm x 12mm SPACERS (1 either side). The spacer slips onto the axles, leaving the perfect space to mount the TRAMPA wheels accurately. Use the 7/16ths of an inch Axle Nuts to lock the wheels into place on the axle.
Kingpin bushings push into the Kingpin holes, in both the Hanger & the Baseplate. When all the bushings are in position, push the Baseplate over the Hanger and into position so that all the Kingpin holes line up. When this is the case you will be able to push the kingpin, from the front to the truck to the back, through the holes in the assembly, connecting them all together. Remember to add the washer onto the kingpin before sliding into the assembly.
Custom Kingpin for Spring Trucks - M8x80mm Nikle Plated, Stainless Steel or TITANIUM
This 'M8 x 80mm Spring Truck Kingpin' is used to connect the Hanger & the Baseplate on any of TRAMPA's Spring Trucks.
Using high quality metals & sizing down to a 8mm Kingpin, we have managed to save loads of weight whilst retaining all the strength necessary for the job!
This M8 x 80mm Kingpin uses an 8mm Washer to support the busing from the outside & a 6mm washer to protect the bushing on the inside side & connects into an M6 Nut. You'll need a 4mm Allen key to hold the Kingpin & a 10mm spanner to tighten/loosen your M6 Kingpin Nut.
This Kingpin pushes through plastic bushings before being placed into position in the Truck System. The Plastic bushings allow the metal parts (Hanger & Baseplate) to move freely inside each other without allowing the metal parts to touch or wear out.
The plastic bushings will wear out over time & use & will eventually perish & need replacing. SO, make sure your Bushings are always in good working order after riding riding or when upgrading your Kingpin, it might be time to replace them too due to the unavoidable wear & tear of moving mountainboard parts.
King Pin Bushings have different thickness bases & fit into all Spring Trucks
The 2mm Kingpin Bushings are pushed into the holes of the SAVAGE Hanger & sit tightly in position. They hold the Kingpin in a wear-free position between the moving metal parts of the SAVAGE hanger & Baseplate.
The Bushings allow the movement (steering) without wearing out the metal parts.
The Kingpin bushings are a small perishable item. They are subjected to a lot of forces & stress, although they are now supported by a 2mm Kingpin Bushing re-enforcement ring, through regular abuse they will ultimately wear out & eventually need replacing.
Depending on what surface you are riding on & the nature of your riding style will depend on how long these bushings will last you.
To make sure your trucks are always performing at their best you should keep some spare Bushings on the shelf at home & inspect these them on a regular basis (preferably before riding) & in particular replace any bushings that are showing signs of wear & then even if they are not broken from time to time replace them anyway...
One way to check your bushings is to man h&le the truck when fitted to the deck... If you feel any play between the Hanger & the Baseplate then you definitely need to replace the bushings straight away before you do damage to the hanger.
Worn out Bushings will cause the kingpin to rub in the Hanger kingpin hole... The kingpin is much stronger than the Aluminium used to make the hanger & the kingpin will wear a nasty hole of you do not fix the problem before it gets too late.

Kingpin Bushing Re-enforcement Ring - Custom
2.5mm Kingpin Bushing Re-enforcement Rings are used in the assembly of all of the TRAMPA Spring Trucks with EXCETION TO the SAVAGE Trucks which use 2mm Kingpin Bishings & 2mm re-enforcement rings in its assembly.
The Kingpin Bushing Re-enforcement Ring is pushed onto or over the top of the Kingpin bushing after it has been inserted into the Hanger & before the baseplate is presented for connection.
The Re-enforcement ring spreads the weight of the connection to give extra support to the tiny kingpin bushings, whilst still allowing the free movement between the Hanger & Baseplate (steering), without wearing out the metal parts.

TRAMPA's SPRINGS are coiled to precision & fit into the TRAMPA Spring Trucks perfectly. They easily squeeze into the space between the Baseplate & Hanger & being made to measure they are firstly very easy to fit with no clamps or tools required to squueze them into position & secondly to be super responsive to the rider.! Once the spring assembly is fitted correctly the steering resistance is taken up instantly!
Our Springs have been designed to work in perfect harmony with the TRAMPA DAMPA's & TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER providing maximum performance from the "Spring assembly" to the rider. The DAMPA's drop into the SPRING & the SPRING RETAINERS seal the ends of the spring, holding the DAMPA in exact position to be pre-loaded & squeezed into the truck. Spring Retainer - Specially designed to work in harmony with the Dampa & spring
TRAMPA's very own & very special re-enforced Spring retainer. Specifically shaped to fit tightly inside the TRAMPA springs & snugly hold the Trampa Dampa in the exact position to give precision steering to the rider. Made by Injection Moulding using original Dupont Materials, with an extra wide Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Flanged Insert seated internally, re-enforcing the Retainer. The Extra Strength of the re-enforced flange, eliminates the need for a very fiddly fitting washer, that is still found in the MBS and Scrub boards today.

The TRAMPA DAMPA is a Urethane Elastomer that fits inside the Spring of a Truck. Its purpose is to support the Spring & give extra resistance during steering. Its clever design has three balls stacked & connected on-top of each other. The middle ball is slightly fatter than the outer two, during steering they all compress against each other giving greater feed back in your turns. This stacked design gives a fantastic progressive feel to steering.
By varying the SHORE DUROMETER (Rubber Hardness) strength of the Urethane mixture, we can control the amount of movement in the DAMPA. This in turn allows the rider to custom tune the resistance of their steering perfect to their requirements. The spheres of the DAMPA fit perfectly into the cup of the specially made TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER which is the part that locates & locks the Spring in the the TRAMPA SPRING TRUCKS, and they instantly start to work with the slightest movement from the rider. TRAMPA DAMPA's work in harmony with the rider, supplying the perfect amount of steering resistance whilst eliminating all chances of speed wobble. Now available in 5 different steering resistance's for all levels of rider out there, Orange DAMPA's are for easy steering, whilst White DAMPA's are for the totally committed!
Turning the Spring Adjuster clockwise pre-loads the tension in the Spring and DAMPA. This can be adjusted on the fly to suit the terrain & conditions. Turning the spring adjuster too much will put pressure on the DAMPA & eventually it may split. Rather than putting too much pressure into the DAMPA, consider up-grading the DAMPA to a harder Shore Durometer as this will most likely increase your performance than over tightening a DAMPA that's not stiff enough for you. Spring Adjuster - Marine Grade Stainless Steel
TRAMPA's very own & very special SPRING ADJUSTER is made using A4 MARINE GRADE STAINLESS STEEL & is guaranteed never to rust on you! The Spring adjuster is fitted to the trucks once the springs have been pushed into position. The spring adjuster pre-tensions the steering suitable for the rider’s requirements. We designed the Spring Adjuster to be slightly shorter in length than other brands’, to avoid the tip of the adjuster poking through the internal of the Spring Retainer, and interfering with the performance of the DAMPA located on the inside of the Retainer.
Should you need extra resistance from your steering because you wish to ride fast, or if you need more steering because the course is twisty, then you can very easily & quickly adjust the resistance of your steering by simply turning the spring adjuster in the correct direction. To get the most out of your trucks on changeable terrain, simply use a 4mm Allen Key to make your adjustments. Winding the Spring Adjuster clockwise increases the steering resistance, which in turn restricts wobble at high speed. Turning the Adjuster anti-clockwise loosens the steering allowing a more carvey ride.
DO NOT over tighten your Spring Adjuster, as this may crush your DAMPA. If you need more steering resistance upgrade your DAMPA's & do not over tighten!
TRAMPA's Longboard bearings will fit to all classic Longboard & Skateboard Wheels.
TRAMPA's Skate sized 608 Bearing (8 x 22 x 7mm) is internationally known as 608 2RS Longboard Bearing or Skateboard Bearing. It is the High Precision stock choice of bearing supplied with all TRAMPABOARDS that use 8mm Axles.
TRAMPA's 608 Skate Bearing has been polished to a an above genuine ABEC 7 quality rating & offers fantastic performance to the user. This Bearing will spin very fast for prolonged periods & it with regular servicing & a few drops of Speed Cream every now & then will last you a very long time. too. The internal Ball Bearings are mounted in a stainless steel raceway & are coated in very fine grease similar to the properties of Speed Cream.
As with all of TRAMPA's Bearings this Longboard Bearing has been fitted with Friction Free (contact-less) Removable Shields making servicing really easy. To Service your Bearings use a sharp knife or 'Pick' to carefully take out the Removable Sleeves from the bearing & clean/soak the bearings in a pot of Petrol or Thinners. Once clean, dry thoroughly & add a few drops of Speed Cream. A few drops is more than enough so don't go pouring loads in, the oil just needs spreading over all of the surfaces so pop them on the axle & give them a spin to spread the cream evenly & only add 1 more drop of Speed cream if necessary. Remember to wipe up any excess cream spinning out of your bearings onto your wheels as this will attract dust & dirt looking messy in turn.

TRAMPA's Generation III PRO BELT DRIVE Motor Mount is a work of art! Made predominantly from T6 Aluminium, every piece has been precision made to give simple assembly & maximum performance.
The Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will give you the same kind of performance as experienced when riding an Enduro Motor bike, it uses a lower gearing ratio of 4.71:1 giving a higher top speed when compared to the Spur Gear Drive setup - which has a higher gear ration of 5.9:1 (for better acceleration).
The Gen III Pro Belt Drive Motor Mount will only fit to Precision CNC Hangers, using TRAMPA's special Conical Clamping system to securely attach onto the Hanger. The Assembly of any of the Pro Motor Mounts is incredibly sturdy & robust; perfect for the rough terrain they’ll be ripping across.
Accommodating a 66 Tooth Slave pulley, it is possible to adjust your gearing by swapping between 13, 14 or 15 tooth Motor pulleys. 13 tooth motor pulleys are perfect for hill climbing, whereas 15 tooth pulleys will achieve a higher top speed, & 14s are a nice balance between the two.
You can further adjust the performance by changing the Rear Drive wheel size. Changing from 8” to 9” or 10“ Tyres has a massive effect on the performance of the board. Check out the Pro Belt gearing chart to see estimated top speeds of different tyre & pulley combinations.
It is only possible to fit the TRAMPA 5 Spoke Hubs to Pro Drive Slave Pulleys. This means the 5-Spoke Superstar & Megastar wheels fit no problem. However it is only possible to run 8 – 10 inch tyres on the Pro Drives, due to low clearance around the housing tubs.
Enclosed within the Motor Mount tub is the Belt Tension Roller - a Bearing Mounted in Aluminium housing, that guides the belt into the optimum position/tension, to maintain the max amount of grip between the belt & the pulley.
Its possible a belt can snap for a variety of reasons. If you’re the kind of rider that likes to go off into the wilderness, then you should always ride with a couple of spare belts (when one snaps, chances are the other isn’t far off). TRAMPA's Pro Belt Drive utilises two special cut-outs that ‘ejects’ broken belts from the housing – slimming the chances of snapped belts jamming up the Motor Pulley.
The best way to prevent a belt snap is to check over & replace the Pulleys & belts on a semi-regular basis - BEFORE they have chance to fail on you. Riding, accelerating & braking hard will wear out your belts & pulleys faster. We recommend you service your board every three rides, or after any particularly tough ride. Check the hardware is tight, the belts aren’t worn, & for any damage, particularly to the motor mounts/trucks. Ensure the tub is free from any dust/dirt. Servicing your board is important for keeping it running smoothly, as well as for your safety when riding.
