M5 x 35mm Regular Hex Head Bolt - Marine Grade Stainless steel with locking paste

Made from A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, all of the nuts, bolts & screws used in a TRAMPA board have proven to be up to the challenge of holding everything together. Using Marine Grade Stainless Steel also means these Bolts will never rust on you! They can cope with the harshest of weather conditions & will laugh in the face of sandy/salty beaches or muddy freeride tracks - which can turn other manufacturers’ nuts & bolts into corroded rusting wrecks!

Wherever possible, we dip all our bolts into BLUE THREAD LOCKING PASTE, to ensure an extra strong & secure fix between the nuts & bolts.

M5 x 16mm TORX Countersunk Bolt - Marine Grade Stainless steel with Fitting

TORX Screws are less likely to strip out when compared to a hex screw, because of the way the load is distributed and applied between the tool and the hardware. Because of this load distribution, the height of the head of the bolt can be reduced - making them nice & flush.

Wherever possible, we dip all our bolts into BLUE THREAD LOCKING PASTE, to ensure an extra strong & secure fix between the nuts & bolts.

BARRELS Retainer 5, 6 or 7mm BASE - BLACK

Used to hold the Barrels in place within any SPRING TRUCK.
Simple to install - the plug-ends are inserted into the barrels, then bolts are secured through the trucks, into the threaded-inside of the retainer.
Secures to the baseplate using an M5x25 Shanked Hex Bolt, & secures to hangers using M5x16 Countersunk Bolts.

Standard Barrels have a 4mm Base.

The 4mm thick Base provides the perfect amount of steering resistance for the majority of riders - but for those looking for higher steering resistance (the Pro/Tall/Heavy/Crazy riders), we now offer 5mm, 6mm & 7mm Barrel Retainers.
Increasing the thickness of the base increases the preloaded tension on the barrel, adding steering resistance that prevents wobble at the higher speeds. Consequently, having higher resistance restricts the amount of steering at lower speeds.
Mix & match the various thicknesses to find your ideal setup!

RETAINERS SOLD INDIVIDUALLY

TRAMPA BARRELS are one of the latest additions to the TRAMPA product line. They replace the SPRINGS & DAMPA's in the Trucks offering a relatively Solid or Firm Steering resistance, great for going fast!

Unlike the springs, there is no 'Pre-Tensioning available' through the spring adjuster when fitting the TRAMPA Barrels. Therefore TRAMPA's BARRELS have until now been a 'one size fits all', but that's all just changed! as its now possible to fit 'Thicker Based Barrel Retainers' which will increase the pre-load tension in the steering...

This is particularilly good for advanced riders & specially those looking for the max in straight line speed! (Ant Wilson!)

Available in the standard 4mm, TRAMPA has introduced 5mm, 6mm & 7mm Barrel Retainers to the range. It is advisable to only change 1 half of the retainers at a time hece these are sold in 'Sets of 4'. Going with too much Pre-tension (7mm Base retainer) will make it more difficult to get an easy carve, but will of course make it much more confidence enhancing to go straight line flat out...!! :-)
