TRAMPA HEEL STRAPS lock your feet into the BINDINGS & make you feel at one with the deck. When using Heel Straps you are committed to the ride & you will have more control over the board. Most Pro riders use heel straps when MOUNTAIN BOARDING as feeling locked to the board increases confidence, gaining greater achievements without the worry of your feet working themselves out of the bindings

With 3 pairs of different length LADDER STRAPS to choose from, the TRAMPA HEEL STRAPS will easily adjust to fit to any sized shoe that comfortably fits onto a Mountain Board. A CAMLOCK BUCKLE is used to Lock the Heel Strap on one side of your foot & a RATCHET BUCKLE on the other. The Ratchet Buckle easily tightens the Ladder into the heel straps so that your foot is LOCKED IN but COMFORTABLE! The rider is able to adjust the strap into the correct position (relative to their foot size) & gain an easy step in – step out locking system into their bindings.

TRAMPA Heel Straps are universally fitting & very simple to fit, TRAMPA Heel Straps are supplied with a Marine Grade Stainless Steel FITTIG KIT & only take a few minutes to assemble.

Camlock Buckles fit too Footstrap & Heelstrap Bindings

The Camlock Buckle is an integral part of the Camlock Binding. Using a Marine Grade Stainless Steel M5 x 8mm Counrtersunk bolt to screw into a submerged Star Nut that is housed within the TRAMPA Ratchet style Footstraps & the TRAMPA Heelstrap Bindings. There is a spacial hook on the underneath of the CAMLOCK that positions into a special slot on the Footstrap. this special hook & Slot enables the camlock to fit very tightly, securing the ladder strap that is fed into it in the correct position whilst giving secure adjustment to the bindings to fit your foot size.

Unlike the Ratchet buckle, the Camlock will not open or close on you regardless of accidents, your bindings will remain in the same open position until the clip is un-done & the ladder is moved into a new position, this means they wont close on you even when deck lands Binding side down making them the perfect choice of binding option for Kite Boarders who potentially do soar great heights into the air whilst making board off maneuvers, inevitably the deck will get dropped, potentially on the bindings and should they close up on you like what might happen to Ratchet style bindings, (Ratchet Bindings are more suited to Mountainboarding) then this will make it very difficult to be able to get your foot back into the bindings especially when you have a huge kite in the air that you are attached to, opening up the bindings whilst the kite is dragging you around can be a real pain in the XXX, so always best to use Camlocks Bindings if you are Kiteboarding.

CUSTOM Ratchet Buckle

TRAMPA's RATCHET BUCKLE connects to FOOTSTRAPS & to HEEL STRAPA. The Ratchet Buckles are a fundamental component part of the BINDINGS, the RATCHET STYLE BINDINGS will not function without them. 

Ratchet Buckles are most commonly used by Mountain Board Riders looking for the tightest connection to the Deck. By simply lifting the ratchet lever up & down feeds the Ladder Strap into the Ratchet Buckle gradually tightening as it goes. You can tighten the strap as much as you comfortably like the bindings to be. To undo the Ratchet Buckle simple apply some pressure to the Release Clip and the straps should simply pull apart.

The Base of the RATCHET BUCKLE has a "Special Hook" The Hook is used to slip into a special slot, anchoring the Ratchet into the footstrap, eliminating any movement in its mounting. This locking into position ensures maximum control over your board through your bindings at all times. A Quick Release Clip, using an extra long lever makes opening the bindings really easy to do, whilst a range of colour coordinating surface protection (colour) options allows you to match up in colour to all of the TRAMPA products on sale. Use an M5x8mm Countersunk Bolt & special Marine Grade Stainless steel STAR NUT to fix the Ratchet Buckle into the Foot Strap. Ensure your nuts & bolts are tight before you ride!

M5 x 8mm Countersunk Allen-Key Bolt - Marine Grade Stainless steel with locking paste

Made from A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, all of the nuts, bolts & screws used in a TRAMPA board have proven to be up to the challenge of holding everything together. Using Marine Grade Stainless Steel also means these Bolts will never rust on you! They can cope with the harshest of weather conditions & will laugh in the face of sandy/salty beaches or muddy freeride tracks - which can turn other manufacturers’ nuts & bolts into corroded rusting wrecks!

Wherever possible, we dip all our bolts into BLUE THREAD LOCKING PASTE, to ensure an extra strong & secure fix between the nuts & bolts.

The head of this Bolt is COUNTERSUNK, meaning that when screwed into position it sits flush & neat with the surface its screwed into. Preventing bolts from standing proud eliminates the chance of anything getting "snagged or hung-up" should it get caught on something..

M5 Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut - Fixes to Trucks & Bindings

Introducing TRAMPA's M5 (5mm Thread) A4 Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M5 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK thread locking security System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts. 

This Nut is used to fix to the Regular shaped M5 Bolts that hold the TRUCKS to the DECK for all  Decks & also for the Dome Head Bolts connecting the L BRACKETS to the Bindings. Use an 8mm spanner or Ratchet Drive to tighten the Nut onto the Bolt. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!
