TRAMPA's SPUR GEAR DRIVE (SGD) Electric Mountainboard is designed for ALL adult sized riders. It will easily achieve speeds well over 50kmph whilst tackling the toughest of terrains!

The SGD Mountain Board has performance likened to that of a Motor-cross bike - with insane torque & eye watering acceleration it is the perfect weapon for heading up long steep muddy hills.

Ensuring all the moving parts are safe from the elements, as well as being protected from all the knocks & bumps that come along naturally when riding off road electric boards athigh speed, TRAMPA's SGD system is housed within a super strong sealed off Tub that for the sake of gaining maximum strength/protection has been CNC’d from a solid block of heat-treated T6 Aluminum. The SGD Tub is tricked out with colour co-ordinating anodised trimmings such as the Bash Guards, Motor Adaptor & Tub Cover for your own customisation.

The SGD has gearing options to suit every size & style rider, offering light weight POM or Super strong but rather heavy Steel Gearing (Perfect for the larger riders out there or really heavy alternative applications away from Mountainboarding) in 2x gear ratios, 9/63 = 1-7 for hill climbing or 10/57 = 1-5.7 for top speed. 

For lighter weight riders there are either Helical or Straight cut POM gears. POM Gears are made from a re-enforced plastic material which results in a much lighter in weight & much more suitable for lighter weight riders. Helical POM gears give a gear ratio of 1:5.8, where as Straight cut POM Gears give a gear ration of 1:5.9. Straight-cut gears have slightly more torque when accelerating, however straight-cut gears run slightly louder than the Helical gears when riding.

TRAMPA's Electric Mountainboards are assembled using the very latest UN-BREAKABLE TRAMPA Electric Decks. In all the years we have been producing the decks we have never ever broken one!! 

The Electric decks are available in 2x lengths, 9-69 Classic & 9-73 BigBoi Deck. Both length decks have a variety of different ply stiffness to suit all sizes & shapes of rider with ultimately no maximum weight limitation. TRAMPA's electric decks are fitted with W shape concave TRAMPA WINGS which serve 2x purposes. Purpose 1 is the Wings increase the width of the deck from 9 inches to 10 Inches & 2nd purpose is to allow easy routing of the cables from the VESC inside the MONSTER BOX located in the center of the deck, to the motors at the back or front of the board (2WD or 4WD).

MONSTER BOXES store the Batteries & VESC Speed controllers. We sit the Box on a mount in the middle of the top side of the Deck. We do this to maximise ground clearance & improve deck performance to the rider. The Monster Boxes come in a selection of different sizes depending on what size deck your taking & what kind or size of batteries you wish to fit inside them.

The 12s CLASSIC Monster Box fits to both length Deck but is limited to installing 2x VESC 6 devices & up to 2x 22,000mAh Lipo cells to give maximum range of approx 22 Miles.
The 12s MASSIVE Monster Box will only fit to the larger 9-73 BigBoi Deck and is capable of fitting either the very latest 21700 Cell 35Ah Cell pack & twin VESC 6 devices or 2x 22Ah Li-Po cells with twin VESC 6 controllers.
The 16s MASSIVE Monster Box will only fit to the larger 9-73 BigBoi Deck and is capable of fitting 3x Li-Po Cells to gain 16s 20Ah (2x 6s 20Ah cells + 1x 4s 20Ah = 16s 20Ah Li-Po cell pack)

All of TRAMPA's Electric Mountainboards use PRECISION Spring Trucks as standard. To gain maximum strength, precision spring hangers are made from forged Aluminum. Once forged the Hangers are sent off to have the excess meat around the axle precision CNC machine milled to 19.5mm² (& around the Baseplate fixing points to ensure steering perfection) to enable the Conical Clamp & Back Plate too slide on & lock together to give an absolutely lock solid connection ensuring total accuracy & a 100% sturdy connection to the Motor Mount assembly.

Precision Spring Trucks have very adjustable steering. With all the options you to easily & accurately fine-tune the steering resistance either move the Springs or Barrels from the outside to the inside position or through turning the Spring Adjuster clockwise increasing the Steering resistance or swapping out different coloured DAMPAS to get the correct steering resistance or by adding the BARRELS, which in turn its possible to add different thickness Base Retainers to further increase the steering resistance. 

It’s possible to attach T6 Aluminum BULL BARS to your front truck, which not only knocks the road-kill out of the way & potentially mows the lawn as you go, but also allows you to connect all kinds of things from lights, cameras, Sat-Navs, or anything else you may need on the front end of your board.

Using TWIN 6376 185KV DC MOTORS (the most powerful motors we currently offer), this board is insanely powerful! Able to fly off the line, up hills, and round corners, easily hitting 50km/h – these motors weren’t designed for being left behind.
Sitting snuggly in the new PRO Motor Housing, along with a specially designed mesh, the motors are safe from any knocks, as well as any dust particles that could get inside & damage them.

PRO Mountainboard Drives fit 8 & 9 inch wheels with SUPERSTAR or MEGASTAR hubs. With so many Spoke, Rim & Tyre options – you can build wheels that look pimp, and fly through any terrain you throw at them. Using the new OFFSET or DEEP DISH MEGASTAR RIMS its possible to extend your wheelbase, adding more stability - perfect for taller/larger riders!
We’ve become quite fond of setting up boards with 8 inch wheels on the front, & 9 inch wheels connected to the motors - a game changer when it comes to grip, acceleration & top speeds! TRAMPA's SPUR GEAR Electric Mountain Board is delivered to you FULLY ASSEMBLED in a Luxury Travel Bag, with a Graupner Ultramat 18 Charger. All you need to do is purchase & fit the batteries and you’re ready to roll!

You will need to supply your own Batteries to make the board move. There are many options when it comes to cells; desired range & budget usually determine the sort of cells you should purchase.
People ask us all the time what cells to use - & there are hidden issues with some cells, such as availability, price, shipping restrictions, wrong connectors, or complexity of build (especially when it comes to making custom build batteries). Taking all these factors into consideration, we found a regular supply of good performance cells from a variety of suppliers & consequently built our Battery Boxes around them. We recommend you service your board every three rides, or after any particularly tough ride. Check the hardware is tight, and for any damage, particularly to the motor mounts/trucks. Reapply grease to the gears and insure the tub is free from any dust/dirt. Servicing your board is important for keeping it running smoothly, as well as for your safety when riding.
