Bearing conversion spacers - Fits 12x28mm Bearings to 9.525mm Axles
These clever reducer sleeves fit inside the TRAMPA bearings and reduce the axle size they fit too from 12mm to 10mm, (most skate trucks have 10mm axles) which is excellent news for 10mm axle riders as they no longer have to fork out the extra money to pay for the special reducer bearing which scrub used to sell. Due to the accurate fitting of the TRAMPA reducer sleeve into the bearing, when the stainless steel half nut holding the hub onto the axle is tightened up too the bearing reducer sleeve, the sleeve works in perfect harmony with the bearing casing, holding it firmly in a precise position on the truck, ensuring a good spin rate from the bearing and giving maximum performance for the rider.
TRAMPA's own Mountain / Kite-board bearings measure 12 x 28 x 8mm & will fit to 12mm axles. They are officially known as 6001 2RS Bearings. 6001 tells you the bearings size whilst 2RS means the bearing has 2 Rubber Seals. The Rubber Seals are inserted into the Outer raceway and in contact with the inner raceway, protecting the single row of lubricated ball bearings housed within the enclosed raceways from the ingress of moisture, dust & dirt, retaining the pre-filled grease within the bearing and maintaining maxium performance to the board & rider for as long as possible. The rubber coated sidewalls are available in RED or BLUE & are embossed with the TRAMPA logo proving Top Quality!
TRAMPA's precision made steel bearings are polished to an internationally recognised ABEC 5 quality. (ABEC 3-5 is recognised as the industry standard). ABEC 5 polishing gives you a super smooth / super fast ride which prolonges top end roll speeds. Using Bearing Reducer Spacers you are able to make these Bearings fit to 9.52mm Skate Truck Axles or 10mm Scooter Axles no problem...
This pressed Aluminium sleeve perfectly holds the bearings in exact position.
The flanged edge of the conversion spacer has perfect contact with the bearing & axle nut, allowing maximum spin rates to the bearing and wheels
