You’ll also find an IMU chip fitted - featuring a gyroscope, accelerometers the VESC 6MKVI knows its 3D orientation in space, 3 axis acceleration values. 

UAVCAN has been added to the firmware allowing to interact with commonly used flight controllers like the PIXHAWK ®* devices. An incredible 12,000 lines of code have been added for the new hardware releases. To make the VESC controller nearly indestructible, the low voltage rails were redesigned A-Z.

VESC-Tool software is now available as an Android™ and iOS™ compatible App, allowing you to configure your VESC or VESC controller array with only a few clicks. User specific PROFILES will let you change in between different setups with a single tap on the fly.
