This 20mm Marine Grade Stainless Steel Complete Deck Bolt kit fixes the Mini Spring TRUCKS to all ply 35º TRAMPA Carve Decks. As the amazing Vertigo baseplate has the huge weight saving hole, in order to make this hole as large as we desired we were forced to re-position the industry standard (Skate Pattern) top row fixing holes into a more suitable place & at the same time we decided to oversize this hole to give us more strength in our connection. So in order to fit the Spring Trucks to the 35º decks you need 2 sizes of bolts, M5 & M6.

All of TRAMPAs Bolts are dipped in BLUE LOCKING PASTE whilst all of the Nuts have been fitted with the world renowned "Nylock" locking system to ensure the most secure fix possible! & being made of Marine Grade Stainless Steel will never rust on you

To assemble your Board with this kit you will need
1 x 8mm Spanners
1 x 10mm Spanner
1 x 4mm Allen Key
1 x 3mm Allen Key

Firstly fix the Trucks to the deck by using the Spring Adjusters to guide you into position & mate the trucks into the deck, then push the M5 Countersunk Truck bolts through the holes closest to the crease on the top side of the Deck into & out of the truck below. Using your fingers keep the connection tight & tighten the M5 nut onto the bolt. Repeat this placing all 4 x M5 countersunk Bolts into the deck at Both ends & finger tightening their nuts on. Only finger tight for now... Then repeat with the M6 Countersunk bolts into the larger outer Bolt holes in the tip of the deck. Balance the nut on the tip of your finger & slide into position & with your other hand screw the bolt into the nut, try to make a few turns so the nut slips onto the thread ready to be tightened later... Repeat so all bolts have nuts finger tight attached.

To tighten the truck bolts use the 8mm Spanner & hold the Truck nut with the other hand, carfully tighten the 5mm Countersunk bolt with the 3mm Allen Key. Before making this bolt very tight, repeat the process using the 4mm Allen key & the 10mm spanner to tighten up the M6 nuts onto the M6 Countersunk Bolts evenly, & when everything is even go round all of the nuts and bolts & turn them all tight so you dont get any loose wobbles...

M5 x 25mm TORX Countersunk Bolt

TORX Screws are less likely to strip out when compared to a hex screw, because of the way the load is distributed and applied between the tool and the hardware. Because of this load distribution, the height of the head of the bolt can be reduced - making them nice & flush. 

Made from A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, all of the nuts, bolts & screws used in a TRAMPA board have proven to be up to the challenge of holding everything together. Using Marine Grade Stainless Steel also means these Bolts will never rust on you! They can cope with the harshest of weather conditions & will laugh in the face of sandy/salty beaches or muddy freeride tracks - which can turn other manufacturers’ nuts & bolts into corroded rusting wrecks!

Wherever possible, we dip all our bolts into BLUE THREAD LOCKING PASTE, to ensure an extra strong & secure fix between the nuts & bolts.

M5 Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut - Fixes to Trucks & Bindings

Introducing TRAMPA's M5 (5mm Thread) A4 Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M5 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK thread locking security System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts. 

This Nut is used to fix to the Regular shaped M5 Bolts that hold the TRUCKS to the DECK for all  Decks & also for the Dome Head Bolts connecting the L BRACKETS to the Bindings. Use an 8mm spanner or Ratchet Drive to tighten the Nut onto the Bolt. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!
