TRAMPA's 12s MASSIVE MONSTER Box is capable of housing up to 2x 6s 22Ah Li-Po Cells or 1x 12s7p 21700 35Ah Cell Pack & in both instances 2x VESC 6 speed controllers at the same time.

TRAMPA's different sized Monster boxes are all made using 2mm & 4mm thick GR4 Re-enforced Glass Fiber panels. The Base & Split Lid panels have been CNC machined with a 2.1mm groove to allow the 2mm thick side panels to slot in & inter-connect perfectly, giving a very strong & tight construction to the box. The box is held together with Anodised Aluminum Hex Spacers which use Stainless Steel Dome Headed TORX Bolts that in turn use lock-tite for permenant connection are screwed through the base of the box, whilst Stainless Steel Countersunk TORX Bolts mounted in a Anodised decorative washers are then used to screw the lid down into the Hex Spacers giving an incredibly neat tight strong & smart finish to the assembly.

As the 12s Massive Monster Box uses the latest Split lid & Inspection pit, it is possible to undo the Countersunk Lid Bolts & remove either the Battery Lid-Side or the VESC Lid-Side of your box, should you ever wish to remove your batteries or take out a VESC without collapsing the entire box down.

Fitted to the top of the 12s Massive Monster Box is the Inspection Pit. Turning the thumb screw on the top gives you access to the Battery Charge Cable & Balance leads that are pushed through rubber grommets to stop the ingress of moisture & dirt, & preventing you from having to open the entire box to do your charging & balancing. 

The 12s Massive Monster Box connects to a BigBoi TRAMPA Mountain board deck using a Universal Mount & is 'Top side mounted' between the riders feet. The Power Cables for the motors exit the box through water resistant Rubber Grommets from the underside of the box, feeding into the protected grooved channels of the WINGS running under the riders feet, eventually poking out at the rear of the deck where the motors are waiting to be connected.

The 12s Massive Monster Box is surface mounted to give maximum ground clearance when riding off road. The majority of TRAMPA products are designed to be ridden off road. When you ar riding off road you need extra clearance or you will get snagged up on anything that protrudes from the ground, bashing your battery box on rocks is not a good idea, plus mounting the box on the surface in the way that we do using the universal mount means we retain 95% of the flex of the deck that the TRAMPA decks are so much famed for.

​When installing your chosen batteries into your 12s Massive Monster Box, it’s a good idea to secure them to the base with Velcro, then pad the area around the batteries with good quality foam. This reduces any ride-ruining-rattling sounds whilst keeping the batteries safe from bouncing around when riding over rough terrain.

If you are running full power using the VESC Speed controllers & want good temperature control then it is worth while considering adding a VESC 6 Heat-Sink or two with your purchase.

Monster Boxes are NOT Waterproof. At best only Splash Proof. If submerged into water then you are in trouble. Its best to avoid puddles as you do not know how deep they are. I use puddles as something to carve around & turn them into something fun, (The TRAMPA Stunt Monkey jump the puddles!) & if you are using this product in an outside environment when its likely to get covered in mud and splashy water like we do with our Mountainboards, then it is wise practice to protect your equipment & add a Monster Box cover. The Thicker Luxury Monster Box cover is fitted with long pockets down the side to store your WAND Controller or critical tools needed on a ride with a removable 'Velcro' top strip that easily peel off allowing you to get access to the inspection pit without having to remove the entire & potentially muddy cover, which just makes life that bit easier. It is my advise to cover the Luxury cover with the Monster Box Muck off or splash proof cover. The Nylon Splash proof cover adds more moisture & dust protection, and adding them both means you keep your luxury cover as clean as possible, but still have access to the charging & balance cables whilst gaining maximum water proofing protection to your equipment

DOG-BONE - UNIVERSAL Monster Box MOUNTS

This is the Classic Monster Box DOG-BONE. 

Made from T6 Alumium the DOG-BONE is used to mount the Classic Monster box securely to the TRAMPA deck.

The DOG-BONE requires 1x Top Rubber Mounting pads, 2x Bottom Rubber Mounting Pads, 4x M6x 25mm Countersunk Bolts & 3x M6x 12mm Countersunk Bolts to connect to the CLASSIC Box to the deck securely & without any rattles.

This OVAL Rubber BLIND Grommet Cable Entry Blank is used to seal of Entry Holes in MONSTER Box, BEAST Box & Underboard Battery Tray which fits on the ORRSOM longboard. Simply push the Oval Grommet into position & your entery holes is sealed from moisture & dust.

If you need to push a cable through, use a sharp knife and carefully slice through the rubber membrane.

5mm ROUND BLIND Rubber Grommet for 5mm TRAMPA Silicone Cable

This 5mm Round Blind Grommet is used to seal off un used Motor Cable Entry Holes in the MONSTER Box, BEAST Box & Underboard BATTERY Box.

The 5mm Round Blind Grommet should also be fitted into all Battery Boxes which are using the Motor Cable entry holes as passing the cables through the 'OPEN' Grommet seals the hole best as possible & protects from the ingress of moisture & dust. 

To open the grommet to pass a cable through simply use a sharp Knife to press against the pre pressed slicing line & slice open the Rubber Membrane to allow you to push your cables through. Easy!

M4 x 16mm TORX Countersunk bolt Marine Grade Stainless Steel

TORX Screws are less likely to strip out when compared to a hex screw, because of the way the load is distributed and applied between the tool and the hardware. Because of this load distribution, the height of the head of the bolt can be reduced - making them nice & flush. 

Made from A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, all of the nuts, bolts & screws used in a TRAMPA board have proven to be up to the challenge of holding everything together. Using Marine Grade Stainless Steel also means these Bolts will never rust on you!
