The TRAMPA VERTIGO TRUCK is a slimmed down light weight version of the original Infinity Truck! Made in exactly the same way using FORGED Alloy for the HANGERit has been CNC machined to cut out the bulk of the material, saving weight but without removing any of its critical strength. The VERTIGO hanger is also fitted with weight saving 12mm HOLLOW STEEL AXLES instead of the standard Solid axles found on the Infinity Truck. The Hanger is attached to an EXTRUDED & T6 HEAT TREATED Aluminum BASEPLATE which has also been CNC lightened. Comparing to the Infinity Truck the VERTIGO is over 20% lighter!! The Hanger & Baseplate "Kingpin Holes" are also CNC precision milled, allowing the Truck to assemble like a dream - everything fixes together perfectly enabling the VERTIGO TRUCKS to provide problem free precision riding!

NYLON BUSHINGS are inserted into the Hanger & Baseplate allowing a flush connection & to eliminate wear between the moving parts. Using a top quality 8mm STEEL KINGPIN, (which seriously reduces weight over the competitions products) connects the 2 integral parts together, allowing the steering to happen... Save money & weight by upgrading the Kingpin to a TITANIUM!

SPRINGS, loaded with TRAMPA DAMPA's are squeezed by hand, into the mounting positions between the Hanger & Baseplate. When anchored in position they give resistance to the steering. The steering resistance can be pre-set to your weight, riding ability & personal preference by changing the TRAMPA DAMPA to a stiffer/softer hardness. TRAMPA DAMPA's come in 5 different hardness's to suit all riding styles. The springs can also be ADJUSTED on the fly! By using a 4mm Allen Key you can further TUNE your steering by turning the SPRING ADJUSTER clockwise to give TIGHTER STEERING (fast riding) & turning anti-clockwise to give LOOSE STEERING (Carve riding). You can quickly adjust your board relevant to the conditions or terrain ahead... As your riding will improve over time you will demand more pre-tension from your steering, so dont over tighten your springs, instead change your Dampa's to something a little harder.

18.2mm spacers position the Wheels on the 12mm axles in the perfect location & 7/16ths of an Inch MGSS Half nuts screwed on at the end of the axle stop the wheel from working loose....

TRUCKS are an integral part of your ride. They are fitted tight with bolts to the angled tip of the DECK. The Truck supports the WHEELS in the correct position & when everything is fixed together, through movement gained from the mounting angle, the natural roll of the inflated wheels & some weight adjustment from yourself, the Trucks & wheels combine to create the steering. 

All Trucks are made of 2 parts - the BASEPLATE & the HANGER. The Hanger houses the axles. The Hanger & Baseplate are connected by the use of a KINGPIN. The kingpin is supported by PLASTIC BUSHINGS. The plastic Bushings prevent metal wear from the moving parts. Quite differently to skate trucks the Kingpin on spring trucks pushes through the Baseplate & Hanger Horizontally. The steering resistance is then gained by the supporting SPRINGS which are Squeezed into the gap, providing resistance in the movement between the Baseplate & the Hanger. 

To give more resistance to the steering, the SPRINGS are additionally supported with Rubber DAMPA's. The DAMPA's are inserted into the springs and help in the perfect position, by use of the Spring Retainer (The Spring retainer is perfectly shaped to hold the Dampa in the spring) before the springs are squeezed into the Truck. The DAMPA's are of a clever design (giving huge thanks to Mr Mark Daniels), using 3 balls stacking on top of each other providing progressive & controllable movement making riding at high speeds a real pleasure as you become at one with the terrain. The DAMPA's are available in a range of different SHORE resistance (SHORE is the measure for rubber hardness) to suit all sizes & capabilities of rider from the smallest to the largest from novice to expert!

The Spring Trucks can be further adjusted on the fly by turning the Spring Adjuster & adjusting the pre-loaded tension in the Spring & Dampa. Turning the spring adjuster clockwise increases the resistance in the Spring & Dampa consequently tightening the steering for the rider. Turning the adjuster Anti-Clockwise releases the pressure on the Spring & Dampa making your steering easier. Loose steering will result in speed wobble at high speeds where as tight steering will making turning at low speeds not so easy. You can custom adjust each Spring in your trucks in-tune with your exact ride requirements! :-)

CUSTOM Spring Truck Baseplate - Extruded T6 Aluminum Anodised & CNC precision Milled

The  INFINITY Baseplate will fit to all of the TRAMPA Spring Truck Hangers but is designed specifically to work in conjunction with the Mini Spring Hanger as it houses a NEW Dual Spring Adjuster position! When the Springs are moved to the new inside position, the new location allows the rider to turn the board very very easily, making it perfect for fast carve riding on all kinds of terrain. The  INFINITY Baseplate is, as its name suggests, designed & built to last forever! Aircraft grade 6061 Aluminum is forced through a Die to create our re-enforced extruded profile. Extruding Aluminum ensures consistent high quality strength. Once Extruded the Baseplate is T6 Heat Treated. Heat treating extruded aluminum fuses the molecules even closer together making it as strong as possible, enabling the INFINITY Baseplate to easily cope with the extreme stresses of all types of off road boarding.

Once Heat Treated, the profile has its fixing holes punched into position & then its Bead Polished in preparation to be Anodised Silver. Once the colour has dried, the Baseplate is then returned to the factory for the precision CNC Machine to accurately mill the Kingpin holes, giving the exact precision required for constructing the Truck.

M5 x 12mm Countersunk Bolt - Marine Grade Stainless steel with locking paste

Made from A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, all of the nuts, bolts & screws used in a TRAMPA board have proven to be up to the challenge of holding everything together. Using Marine Grade Stainless Steel also means these Bolts will never rust on you! They can cope with the harshest of weather conditions & will laugh in the face of sandy/salty beaches or muddy freeride tracks - which can turn other manufacturers’ nuts & bolts into corroded rusting wrecks!

Wherever possible, we dip all our bolts into BLUE THREAD LOCKING PASTE, to ensure an extra strong & secure fix between the nuts & bolts.

The head of this Bolt is COUNTERSUNK, meaning that when screwed into position it sits flush & neat with the surface its screwed into. Preventing bolts from standing proud eliminates the chance of anything getting "snagged or hung-up" should it get caught on something..

Kingpin Bushings 2.5mm Base - for Spring Trucks

The precision made Kingpin Bushings locate the Kingpin in a wear-free position between the hanger & Baseplate

The Kingpin bushings are a small item & are subjected to a lot of forces and through normal/regular use they will ultimately need replacing over time. Depending on what surface you are riding on will depend on how long these bushings will last you. So to make sure your trucks are always performing at their best inspect these Bushings regularly (preferably before riding) & in particular replace any that are showing signs of wear & from time to time replace them anyway...

The difference between the four bushings is the thickness of the base. The different base sizes are 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm. 2.5mm is the standard size we work to. As all trucks have 4 bushings this .5mm difference in each of the bushing bases allows us to bridge a maximum distance of 2mm (4x.05mm=2m) resolving any foreseeable problems.

Custom TRAMPA DAMPA

The TRAMPA DAMPA is a Urethane Elastomer that fits inside the Spring of a Truck. Its purpose is to support the Spring & give extra resistance during steering. Its clever design has three balls stacked & connected on-top of each other. The middle ball is slightly fatter than the outer two, during steering they all compress against each other giving greater feed back in your turns. This stacked design gives a fantastic progressive feel to steering.

By varying the SHORE DUROMETER (Rubber Hardness) strength of the Urethane mixture, we can control the amout of movement in the DAMPA. This in turn allows the rider to custom tune the resistance of their steering perfect to their requirements. The spheres of the DAMPA fit perfectly into the cup of the specially made TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER which is the part that locates & locks the Spring in the the TRAMPA SPRING TRUCKSand they instantly start to work with the slightest movement from the rider. TRAMPA DAMPA's work in harmony with the rider, supplying the perfect amount of steering resistance whilst eliminating all chances of speed wobble. Now available in 5 different steering resistance's for all levels of rider out there, Yellow DAMPA's are for easy steering, whilst White DAMPA's are for the totally committed! 

Turning the Spring Adjuster clockwise pre-loads the tension in the Spring and Dampa. This can be adjusted on the fly to suit the terrain & conditions. Turning the spring adjuster too much will put pressure on the Dampa & eventually it may split. CNC Precision VERTIGO E-MTB Hanger - Used in conjunction with all PRO Series Mountainboard Motor Mounts - 16 inch wide

The TRAMPA VERTIGO ELECTRO HANGER was designed with motor mounting in mind. Using a precise CNC milling machine, we’ve squared off the edges of the hanger, meaning TRAMPA Motor Mounts slide directly (and snugly) onto the hanger. This ensures the maximum amount of support for the motor mounts, and no room for the motors to wobble while riding.

TRAMPA's VERTIGO HANGERs are a slimmed down, lightweight version of the original solid style INFINTY Hanger. To supply the maximum strength at all times all of our hanger bodies are produced from premium FORGED ALUMINUM produced as 1 solid piece. The precision CNC milling machine is applied to the infinity hanger & accurately cuts out the bulk of the material without stripping any of its critical strength, resulting in the VERTIGO hanger being almost as strong as the Infinity BUT nearly 20% lighter in weight. :-)

The Vertigo Hanger is fitted with 12mm HOLLOW STEEL Axles. The Hollow axles are HEAT TREATED - making them substantially stronger & resistant to impacts. Hollow Axles are nearly half the weight of Solid Axles!

CNC milling guarantees precision work - ensuring the Kingpin Holes are accurately placed. This results in the best performance for the rider, as well as making the truck easy to assemble & service. In order to gain the "Two Tone Pimp Finish" the VERTIGO Hanger is ANODISED GLOSS BLACK for metal protection & colour coordinated good looks, before the CNC work is carried out.

The VERTIGO Hanger measures 16 Inches in total width. When the wheels are fitted to the Hanger, the wheels have a center wheel width of 14 Inches apart.

Custom Kingpin for Spring Trucks - M8x80mm Nikle Plated, Stainless Steel or TITANIUM

This M8 x 80mm Spring Truck Kingpin is used to connect the Hanger & the Baseplate on the TRAMPA INFINITY, VERTIGO or ULTIMATE ATB or Mini Spring Trucks.

By using high quality metals true to our word the 8mm Kingpin saves us loads of weight compared to our competition whilst retaining all the strength necessary for the job!

This M8 x 80mm Kingpin pushes through the bushings in the Hanger & Basaplate connecting them snugly together, tightening into an M6 Nylock Nut. You'll need a 4mm Allen key to hold the Kingpin tiight & a 10mm spanner to tighten/loosen your M6 Kingpin Nut.

This Kingpin pushes through plastic bushings when being placed into position in the Truck System. The Plastic bushings allow the metal parts (Hanger & Baseplate) to move inside each other without allowing the metal parts to touch or wear out. The plastic bushings will wear out over time & though use, they will eventually perish & need replacing. SO, make sure your Bushings are always in good working order after riding, in order to make sure you have smooth running it might be advisable to replace them from time to time too due to the unavoidable wear and tear of moving mountainboard parts.

M6 Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut - Fixes Bindings & Trucks to Deck

Introducing TRAMPA's M6 (6mm Thread) A4 Grade Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M6 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts

This Nut is used to fix to the Regular shaped M6 Bolts that hold the TRUCKS to the DECK for the HOLYPRO Decks & also for the countersunk bolts connecting the L BRACKETS TO the DECKs. Use an 10mm spanner or SOCKET for a Ratchet Driver to tighten the Nut onto the Bolt. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!

7/16ths Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Axle HALF nut (W7/16-20T UNF) - Fits to 12mm Axles

This very special 7/16ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nyloc HALF NUT is custom made specially to fit the TRAMPA products. Half nut means - half as the size of a regular nut, so half the size = half the weight of a normal nut.. By using Half nuts on the axles reduces the over all length of the axle & kingpin therefore further reducing weight in the Truck! A few Grams here & a few grams there soon adds up & makes all the difference to the total Truck & consequently deck weight, specially in critical areas of the deck such as the wheels area, where a few grams makes all the difference...

This very special 3/8ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Half Nut official factory measurements are  W7/16 - 20T - UNF. This Nut is used to hold the wheels onto the axles of the Spring Trucks fitted with 12mm axles. The Nut is fitted as standard with the world renowned NYLOC System. The Nyloc "locks the Nut onto the Bolt" eliminating vibration, keeping your nuts tighter for longer!

Use a 16mm or 5/8thths of an Inch spanner to tighten / loosen the Nut onto the Axle or Kingpin. Do not overtighten the nut & make sure the wheel can spin freely but does not rattle & do not crush your bearings. Being Marine Grade Stainless Steel this nut will not rust you! Always ensure all ur nuts are tight before you ride!

Wheel support spacer for all TRAMPA Wheels on 12mm ATB Axles - CNC precision 12mm x 16mm x 18.2mm

This special Spacer measures 12mm (id) x 16mm (od) x 18.2mm (long) & has 2 uses!. It is firstly known as the Bearing Support Spacer as this Spacer fits between the Bearings of a 6 Spoked HYPA Hub, (when mounting the HYPA wheel onto 12mm Axles) & secondly it is also known as the AXLE SUPPORT SPACER as this spacer is also used to position any of the TRAMPA wheels in the perfect position onto the axles of 12mm TRAMPA Spring trucks....

TRAMPA spacers are produced as one long tube. The Tube is Heat Treated to gain extra strength & is then Bead Polished to give the metal extra surface protection & a shiny best appearance. The tube is then cut to the exact length for precision mounting. 

Custom Colour Spring - Powdercoated Sprung Steel Steering Springs

TRAMPA's SPRINGS are coiled to precision & fit into the TRAMPA Spring Trucks perfectly. They easily squeeze into the space between the Baseplate & Hanger & being made to measure they are firstly very easy to fit with no clamps or tools required to squueze them into position & secondly to be super responsive to the rider.!  Once the spring assembly is fitted correctly the steering resistance is taken up instantly!

Our Springs have been designed to work in perfect harmony with the TRAMPA DAMPA's & TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER providing maximum performance from the "Spring assembly" to the rider. The DAMPA's drop into the SPRING & the SPRING RETAINERS seal the ends of the spring, holding the DAMPA in exact position to be pre-loaded & squeezed into the truck. Using just a little bit of muscle, squeeze the loaded spring into the truck, then lock the spring into position using the Spring Adjuster & M5 x 12mm Countersunk Bolt. The TRAMPA spring Truck steering system is highly responsive & totally customisable by interchanging the DAMPA's to harder Urethane. Other Mountain Board brands springs will not fit the TRAMPA Trucks as they are a different in dimension.

Spring Retainer - Specially designed to work in harmony with the Dampa & spring

TRAMPA's very own & very special re-enforced Spring retainer. Specifically shaped to fit tightly inside the TRAMPA springs & snugly hold the Trampa Dampa in the exact position to give precision steering to the rider. Made by Injection Moulding using original Dupont Materials, with an extra wide Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Flanged Insert seated internally, re-enforcing the Retainer. The Extra Strength of the re-enforced flange, eliminates the need for a very fiddly fitting washer, that is still found in the MBS and Scrub boards today.

Designed to work in harmony with the TRAMPA spring and TRAMPA Dampa to help create immediate resistance from your steering system. With TRAMPA Embossed around the rim of the retainer - you'll have performance with pimpness!

Spring Adjuster - Marine Grade Stainless Steel

TRAMPA's very own & very special SPRING ADJUSTER is made using A4 MARINE GRADE STAINLESS STEEL & is guaranteed never to rust on you! The Spring adjuster is fitted to the trucks once the springs have been pushed into position. The spring adjuster pre-tensions the steering suitable for the rider’s requirements. We designed the Spring Adjuster to be slightly shorter in length than other brands’, to avoid  the tip of the adjuster poking through the internal of the Spring Retainer, and interfering with the performance of the DAMPA located on the inside of the Retainer.

Should you need extra resistance from your steering because you wish to ride fast, or if you need more steering because the course is twisty, then you can very easily & quickly adjust the resistance of your steering by simply turning the spring adjuster in the correct direction. To get the most out of your trucks on changeable terrain, simply use a 4mm Allen Key to make your adjustments. Winding the Spring Adjuster clockwise increases the steering resistance, which in turn restricts wobble at high speed. Turning the Adjuster anti-clockwise loosens the steering allowing a more carvey ride.  

DO NOT over tighten your Spring Adjuster, as this may crush your DAMPA. If you need more steering resistance upgrade your DAMPA's & do not over tighten!

The Hanger is attached to an Aerospace grade HEAT TREATEDAnodised ALUMINUM BASEPLATE which in turn is CNC machined, cutting out the bulk of its material, reducing weight as much as possible without altering its critical strength & leaving a Pimp two tone top quality appearance behind!

Using a 4mm Allen Key you can further TUNE your steering by turning the SPRING ADJUSTER clockwise to give TIGHTER STEERING (fast riding) or turning anti-clockwise to give LOOSE STEERING (Carvie riding). You can quickly adjust your board relevant to the conditions or terrain ahead. As your riding will improve over time you will demand more pre-tension from your steering, so don't over tighten your springs, instead change your DAMPA's to something a little harder. The rider can fit different Dampas in different corners of the deck to custom the steering of their board exactly the way they need it.

The reinforced plastic injected spring retainer houses a specially made, Marine grade, stainless steel flanged washer. This custom piece eliminates the need for a Penny washer, (which is so commonly used in other brands to support the retainer, and is a complete pain in the XXX to fit) and consequently gives the rider easy access for servicing and fitting the springs into the trucks. The Spring Adjuster has also been custom-made from Marine Grade Stainless steel. The overall length has be shortened so not to poke through the spring retainer and interfere with the Dampa. Also the neck of the adjuster (the area which sits within the retainer) has been narrowed so that it fits within the thread of the retainer effectively giving the rider 4 spare retainers should they ever need them in the future.
