CLASSIC MONSTER Box MkV 4WD BASE

The Monsterbox Classic MkV Base connects to all vertical panels in a Monster Box Classic or Double Stack Monster Box Classic, provided the adjacent panels are also Mk5. They are used with grommets to allow entry into the box by the phase and sensor cables, and the edges of the box are where the hex spacers mount. Additionally, the base is where any Monsterbox is mounted to the board. In this case that can be done via the standard bushing system or Dogbone mounting system. This panel is only designed to operate with 4 motors.

On most TRAMPA electrical components, you’ll find AMASS XT90 connectors.  With a strong nylon plastic body & cylindrical brass contacts that comfortably fit 10-12 gauge wires, XT90 connectors are rated to handle 90 Amps continuous – but have been tested up to 270A!

Available as standard, or Anti-Spark - we recommend Anti-Spark for connections that are likely to be plugged/unplugged often.

This OVAL Rubber BLIND Grommet Cable Entry Blank is used to seal of Entry Holes in MONSTER Box, BEAST Box & Underboard Battery Tray which fits on the ORRSOM longboard. Simply push the Oval Grommet into position & your entery holes is sealed from moisture & dust.

If you need to push a cable through, use a sharp knife and carefully slice through the rubber membrane.

This 5mm Round Blind Grommet is used to seal off un used Motor Cable Entry Holes in the MONSTER Box, BEAST Box & Underboard BATTERY Box.

The 5mm Round Blind Grommet should also be fitted into all Battery Boxes which are using the Motor Cable entry holes as passing the cables through the 'OPEN' Grommet seals the hole best as possible & protects from the ingress of moisture & dust. 

To open the grommet to pass a cable through simply use a sharp Knife to press against the pre pressed slicing line & slice open the Rubber Membrane to allow you to push your cables through. Easy!

The filter mesh is 0.15 mm, this will only allow particulates that are small enough to pass through the air gap between motor magnets and the stator.

The KEYWAY connects between the Motor Pulley & the Motor Axle Shaft to eliminate slip under power 3x3x12mm

TRAMPA's Motor Axle Shaft to Pulley KEYWAY measures 3 x 3 x 8mm. It connects into the Motor Pulley when mounted onto the motor Axle Shaft & is used to center the pulley on the Axle & to assist in delivering all the power from the motor without slip! This KEYWAY will fit to all TRAMPA motors amongst others.

TRAMPA's Axle length measures 38.5mm (from motor housing to end of shaft) & has a Diameter of 8mm. The centre of the key (3 x 3 x 8mm) sits 16.70mm away from the Motor front. Front side of Motor to Center of Key! Deduct 4mm & you have the length from front side of motor to the start of key....

Spur Gear Drive HELICAL or STRAIGHT Cut Slave Pulleys Made from POM or Steel

Spur Gear Drives are compatible with Straight-cut or Helical Gears.
Made from premium POM plastic, the 58-tooth Helical Slave Pulley pairs with the 10-tooth Helical Motor Pulley, giving a gear ratio of 1:5.8. Compared to the 59-tooth Straight-cut Slave Pulley’s ratio of 1:5.9, Helical gears will ultimately have a higher top speed.  

Helical Gears provide more surface contact between the teeth, resulting in a smoother & quieter ride.

Straight-cut Gears are the cheaper option – still providing amazing torque & performance, while running a bit louder than helical.   

Connects to Hub Adaptor using 5x m5 x 12mm Torx head screws.

Spur Gear Drive CUSTOM Motor Pulley - c45 HARDENED STEEL

SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor Mounts can run using Helical or Straight-cut pulleys.

Helical Motor Pulleys give a gear ratio of 1:5.8 when paired with the 58 tooth Helical Slave Pulley. The Helical shape allows for more surface contact between the Slave & Motor Pulley Teeth, creating a quiet & efficient drive. 

Straight-cut Motor pulleys pair with a 59 tooth Slave Pulley, giving a ratio of 1:5.9 – meaning there will be a tad more power when accelerating in comparison to the Helicals. However, due to less surface-contact between the gears, Straight-cuts are much louder when riding along (although we’ve found some mad people who like/prefer the noise!).

Mountainboard Motor Mount V-Ring TUB Seals - Fits both BELT & SPUR Gear Drive Motor Mounts

This rubber seal fits to the PRO BELT DRIVE & the SPUR GEAR DRIVE, and prevents dust & dirt from getting inside the motor mounts. Like many parts, you should check over & clean this seal after every few rides, to ensure it’s doing its job, and it isn’t on it’s last legs!

When installing this seal, be sure that the ‘V-side’ of the seal is facing outwards, towards the tub. You may need to get a small knife or ruler to slip behind and reposition it as you go.

Mountainboard Motor Mount Truck Connector

Works with PRO BELT & SPUR GEAR Drives.
The Clamp housing slips over the axels of Precision CNC’d Vertigo Trucks, ensuring the drivetrain sits at the correct angle.
Working in conjunction with the Conical Clamp, when connected together the housing squeezes the clamp to the hanger, securely attaching the drivetrain to the trucks.

M4 x 45mm Socket Capped TORX Bolt - Marine Grade Stainless steel with locking paste

TRAMPA's M4 x 45mm Socket Capped Bolt is made using A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. This very special Bolt is specifically made for TRAMPA & is used to assemble the TRAMPA PHATLADZ HUBS. The socket capped head of the Bolt screws neatly though the Spokes & into the fixing point in the Rim, eventually screwing  into the M4 nut on the other side easly.

This Nylock Nut will fit to all M4 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK thread locking security System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts. 

This Nut is used to fix to tighten to the M4 Socket Capped Bolts that hold the HYPA & SUPERSTAR hubs together. To fit the nuts M4 use an 8mm spanner or  8mm Ratchet Socket to turn the Nut onto the Bolt whilst holding the bolt with a 3mm Allen Key. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!

Its not just the Electric Mountainboarding scene anymore, & as consequence we have become all about modular connect ability, bringing solutions to our own conundrums whilst working alongside lots of other creative individuals or University Teams & even Global companies, & so we realised creating this special 'Fit anywhere AXLE' would be the resolve for many peoples projects & bring so much more help to so many others projects that we have found ourselves involved with....

And so TRAMPA's new 'fit anywhere' 19.5mm TO 12mm Cr-Mo AXLES are compatible with the full range of TRAMPA's Motor Mounts, Drives & Wheels, then Combined with our MOTORS & a VESC 6, the performance is guaranteed & getting your project rolling couldn't be easier!

This 'Fit Anywhere Axle' measures 19.5 x 19.5mm & has been specifically made to fit easily inside 25x25x2.5mm box section. If you are creative & have access to a welding machine you can pretty much make anything from 25mm Steel Box section & then installed with our '19.5mm Fit Anywhere Axle' makes it kind of like a giant Mechano set!

The Axle has 3x 'M8 Tapped holes' in its body to allow for a range of easy mounting options. You will need to drill corresponding connecting holes in the 25mm Box section in order to weld or to be able to securely fit the axle with a BOLT KIT.

Other mounting options could include being bolted to sheet material or being welded.

10 INCH Inner Tube INNOVA 10x3 Inch 250x80mm - fits 4 inch Rims & 10 inch tyres

INNOVA's Re-enforced 9 Inch inner tube measures 225mm x 65mm and will fit into all the of the 9 inch Tyres on the TRAMPA website. This 9 Inch Inner Tube will also fit into the tyres of other brands. Being made from slightly thicker rubber, this Inner Tube is slightly heavier than alternatives but the Inner Tube will handle much higher than recommended inflation rates... Therefore this INNOVA inner tube is ideal for heavier or pro riders seeking high inflation pressures...

This INNOVA Inner tube will fit into all known 9 inch tyres as well as most ATB Hubs on the market & it comes as expected with a "Plastic Anti Dust" Valve cap!

TRAMPA's AMAZING 5 Spoke PHATLADS hubs are a '2 Part Split rim', 'DEEP-DISH' (Extra wide), OFF-SET design & the latest addition to fit into TRAMPA’s amazing range of small off road wheels.

Available in a range of Painted Vibrant colours with colour co-ordinating Black TRAMPA Logo's, the PHATLAD hubs Weigh just 184g per hub (not including fixings) TRAMPA's PHATLADS are the lightest, strongest, cheapest, best choice of hub for 9” & 10” Tyres by far.

Injection molded using genuine DuPont composite materials, PHATLAD Hubs utilize a special '2 part split-rim design' that can fit any 3.75 Inch Rim Tire (6, 7, 8 Inch Diameter Tyres) & or any 4 Inch Rim tyres (9 & even 10 Inch Diameter tyre) that TRAMPA offers & pretty much any similar size tyre on the market – One amazing lightweight strong hub to fit them all will transform your ride experience for sure!

Measuring 3.75/4 (rim diameter) x2.5 Inch (rim width) the PHATLADS hubs are a half inch wider than regular 8x2 inch TRAMPA mountainboard hubs. The slimmer/inside half of the hub has straight sided, up to the edge spokes, where as the outer/fatter half of the hub is much wider & has Angled spokes. The Angled spokes give a Deep-Dish appearance whilst gaining the extra half inch width to give them the name PHATLAD's. The PHATLAD's have the same extrnal bearing housing measurement or axle space required to fit the 8x2 Inch TRAMPA hubs onto the 12mm TRAMPA axles of 34.2mm. This 'Off-Set' 34.2mm Bearing positioning means the wider hubs sit perfectly on the axle with no problems.

Increasing the Rim width increases the ground contact of any tyres fitted to them, giving a low wide look when the 6, 7 & 8 inch tyres are fitted & the PHATLADS Hubs are the perfect width fit for the larger 9 & 10 inch tyres to get maximum surface contact (GRIP) in the muddiest of conditions when contact is needed most!

Being 2.5 Inches wide but able to fit the smaller 3.75 inch tires, means that when fitting the smaller tires to the larger hubs that the profile of the tire is completely different... The wider rim will 'Stretch' the tire & give you even more surface contact, as its being stretched width-ways this will reduce the overall tire height, reducing your tire height is like changing your final gear in the drive on an E-Board & reducing the size of your wheel will give you faster acceleration but of course slower top speed.. Its interesting to try different combinations & using PHATLADS you have hundreds of combinations available to you..

TRAMPA's PHATLADS hubs will fit flawlessly to any of TRAMPA's OPEN BELT DRIVE, PRO BELT DRIVE & SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor mount setups as well as hundreds of alternative applications, it has quickly become the DIY'ers Wheel of choice....!!

There are two sets of Bolt holes running around the perimeter of the PHATLADS Hubs. The Outer set of holes are for the assembly of the Hub & require the M4 nuts being inserted into the nut housings on the thinner of the 2 parts & once the 2 parts are mated together the Shorter M4x45mm bolt should be threaded through from the fatter side of the hub tightening into then nut with a T20 TORX Key. This M4 nut is submerged & the bolt should not sit proud of the surface of its housing. 

The Inner M4x50mm T20 TORX bolt holes of the PHATLADS hubs match the same screw pattern as any of the TRAMPA Slave pulleys suiting the 62 Tooth Slave Pulley when fitted with 6 inch tyres, the 66 tooth Slave Pulley when fitted with 8 inch Tyres & 76 Tooth Slave Pulley when fitting 9 Inch tyres.... Having 2 sets of Bolt holes allows the user to be able to remove the wheel from the assembly without deflating & disassembling the wheel, meaning they can HOT-SWAP their wheel. Being able to 'Hot Swap' your wheels without taking them apart saves you lots of time when it comes to creating different rider setups, after all a board with 6 inch wheels is completely different to a board with 9 or 10 inch Wheels!

It is possible to fit either the 12mm axle 6001-2RS Bearings & 9.525mm axle 16001-2RS Bearings into the bearing housing of the PHATLAD hubs & of course Bearing reducer sleeves can be used to reduce the 12mm bearings to either 9.525mm (TRAMPA's Mini Spring Trucks & 12FIFTIES Trucks use 9.525mm Axles) or 10mm axles if your axle should be 10mm not the imperial 9.525mm TRAMPA uses. 

When fitting PHATLAD wheels on to 12mm TRAMPA Truck axles, you should install a 18.2 x 12mm Wheel Support Spacer onto the axle before then adding the first 12mm bearing, then slide on the Orange 16.5mm Internal Spoke Support spacer & then stretch on & roll into position the 10mm O-Ring. Do all that & then present the assembled wheel & carefully slide/push the hub/wheel into position. Place the 2nd bearing onto the axle & push into the assembly. Finally, screw on the 7/16ths Axle nut with your fingers & tighten up with a 16mm or 9/16ths spanner.

10 inch Tyres MEASURE 10x 3.5x 4 and fit onto 4 Inch Rims

All 10 inch Tyres will fit with DEEPDISH MEGASTARS & PRIMO 3 SPOKE Hubs. The extra size makes them perfect for go-karts, golf buggys, trikes, tractors & countless other applications.

The larger circumference means less roll-resistance,  allowing greater top speeds. The extra width means the tyres have greater surface contact, meaning greater grip! Ideal for offroad & hill-climbing apllications
