TRAMPA's Generation III SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor Mount is the ultimate drive system for off road riding! Made predominantly from T6 Aluminium, every piece has been precision made to give simple assembly & maximum performance.

The performance from the SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor Mount is likened to a Motorcross bike - designed with insane torque for astonishing acceleration, top speeds & jumps. Opposed to the PRO BELT DRIVE Mountainboard, which is designed like a Motor-Enduro bike - for longer, more comfortable rides, and a bit more top-end speed.

The SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor Mount will only fit to Precision CNC Hangers, using TRAMPA's special Conical Clamping system to securely attach onto the Hanger. The Assembly of any of the Pro Motor Mounts is incredibly sturdy & robust; perfect for the rough terrain they’ll be ripping across.

The SPUR GEAR DRIVE uses Helical or Straight cut gears. Helical Gears give a gear ratio of 1:5.8, whereas straight cut gives 1:5.9 – meaning straight-cut gears have more power when accelerating - however, Straight-cut gears are louder than the Helical when riding (although we’ve found some mad people who like the noise!).

You can further fine-tune the performance by changing the Rear Drive wheel size. Changing from 8” to 9” or 10“ Tyres has a massive effect on the performance of the board. Check out the Spur Gear gearing chart to see estimated top speeds of different tyre & pulley combinations.

It is only possible to fit the TRAMPA 5 Spoke Hubs to Pro Drive Slave Pulleys. This means the 5-Spoke Superstar & Megastar wheels fit no problem. However it is only possible to run 8, 9 or 10 inch tyres on the Pro Drives, due to low clearance around the housing tubs.

Spur Gear Slave Pulleys are made using premium POM plastic, giving them the best strength : weight ratio possible.

TRAMPA's EXTERNAL SPUR GEAR DRIVE is housed within a super strong, rubber-sealed Tub, CNC’d from a solid block of heat-treated T6 Aluminium. Ensuring all the moving parts are safe from the elements, as well as knocks and bumps that come along naturally when riding.

We recommend you service your board every three rides, or after any particularly tough ride. Check the hardware is tight, the gears are greased, & for any damage - particularly to the motor mounts/trucks. Ensure the tub is free from any dust/dirt. Servicing your board is important for keeping it running smoothly, as well as for your safety when riding.

 

 

 

 

TRAMPA's MkIII SPUR GEAR DRIVE (SGD) Motor Mount is a Super Powerful drive system that's designed to give maximum performance. It is the perfect option for 'Serious Off-Road Riding!'

The performance from the SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor Mount is likened to that of a Motor-Cross bike - The solid gears inter-lock & as the motor turns supplying instant propulsion! There can be no 'slip' no matter how hard you push. 

The SGD has insane torque & gives astonishing acceleration. but it is still able to easily achieve, through a selection of different gearing options for different types of riders a 30mph+ top speed... Capable to handle aggressive riding, this board can be being ridden in the worst of conditions & also very good at hitting fair sized jumps like those found on your local BMX park. 

Comparably, TRAMPA's PRO BELT DRIVE (PBD) Mountainboard, which many customers wonder if this is the right board for them compared to the SGD, because of its sturdy Black anodised Aluminium protective Tub makes the Pro Belt Drive setup a sealed off system and just like the SGD preventing the the likes of crap from getting in, the PBD can still be ridden in bad conditions but is designed with gearing that is more like that of a Motor-Enduro bike which is less aggressive acceleration but therefore a higher top speed & should be selected for longer flatter rides as its somehow more comfortable for these kinds of rides & gives you a bit more top-end speed at the same time....

TRAMPA's 'SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor Mount' will only fit to Precision CNC Hangers. Constructed using TRAMPA's special Conical Clamping system which securely tightens itself onto the Hanger, the Assembly of any of the TRAMPA Motor Mounts is incredibly sturdy & terribly robust 100% perfect for the rough terrain they’ll be ripping across.

The SPUR GEAR DRIVE Pulleys are produced in 2 ways. Originally using light weight POM material (Which is great for light weight riders) & now being also offered in Heat treated Steel alternatives (Which is great for the larger riders). POM is like a re-enforced plastic material & much less Heavy than a Steel option. The POM Pullies are offered in a 58 Tooth Helical cut (supplying a gear ratio of 1:5.8) &/or a 59 Tooth Straight cut gear (supplying a Gear ratio of gives 1:5.9) so the Straight cut pulley has 1 tooth more which means it will accelerate slightly faster than the 58 Helical (but barely anything in it really). 

Its claimed the Straight-cut POM gears run slightly louder than the Helical POM Gears, although the slight increased noise can be quite nice to hear, it gives a sense of speed & can be quite useful to alerting ramblers or pedestrians you are approaching or likely to approach around a blind corner that you might be traveling too fast into and therefore the slight noise alerts our fellow citizens of our approach which takes the fright of a surprise out of your potentially fast approaching presence... :-)

 Both POM Pullies options are wonderful for the lighter weight riders, say up to 80kg in weight, but sometimes not robust enough for the larger sized riders out there, 80kg+.... If your an aggressive rider but light weight then you should consider taking the steel Pullies as they are stronger for sure...

& so larger sized 'Fully grown BigBoys' out there that want the same performance as the light weigh riders they see in the videos they need the strongest equipment & with more gearing ratio to allow their extra weight/mass to have almost the same incredible performance as the lighter weighted riders, so we have made some Heat treated STEEL Slave Pullies. That's a ratio of 1-7 and will give incredible torque! So for riders that are big and need some gearing to shift them forwards fast, the 9/63 is the one for them. If your a light

TRAMPA Custom Single motor 6364 160Kv or 6376 wound in 160Kv or 185Kv configurations.

TRAMPA's very own purpose made 160 KV 6376 Out-Runner Motor provides 160RPM per volt. CUSTOM MADE to handle HIGH Power outputs.

This Motor has many NEW features that increase both hardiness & efficiency!

- Improved thermal design; with a more thermally-connected-mass, heat can dissipate much more efficiently. The new Rotor bodies feature raised rings that increase surface area, further helping heat dissipation.

- Stronger Hardware; larger & stronger bolts have been used throughout the motor, improving the motor’s strength & sturdiness, while making maintenance a lot less fiddle-y.

- Optimised Air-cooling; Stator cooling via air-flow - larger openings on the stator & having no sensor PCB both help to encourage a cooling flow of air through the motor. Further improve the air-flow using the MKII Motor Housing & Fan End-cap Kit.    

- Accurate & faster temperature readings; With a heat sensor glued to the copper windings in the ideal location, it's possible to get faster and more accurate motor-temp readings, which is important for future sensorless startup algorithms.

- Optimised for sensorless rotor position detection; With no sensor PCB inside, this motor works best when used with a VESC Speed Controller featuring Advanced Sensorless Startup - when paired & activated the motor will be able to reach full torque at 0RMP! 


All TRAMPA Motors use Premium high-temperature Copper & the highest grade of Neodymium Magnets available. The magnets connect to an Extended & Heat treated 8mm Steel Axle shaft that's locked in a balanced position with 4 precision Bearings. All screws & fixings used in the assembly are Marine grade Stainless Steel. All creating super-tough  motors that can easily out-perform the competition!

Our special design allows you to fit mesh filters, or entire Motor housings, preventing the impregnation of particles entering in the motor & stopping them running smoothly. The motor Stators are equipped with twelve M4 threaded mounting holes, sitting on a 44mm diameter circle. The extra holes allow the motor to be mounted at the exact angle needed so the motor cables always sit in the perfect angle, towards the mount or deck.

Using 38.5mm x 8mm Heat-Treated Hardened-Steel Motor Shaft (fitted with a 12x3x3mm KEYWAY locator as standard), the extra length of the Axle allows us to add adequate support with Motor Axle Supports, & allows us to fit  Extra wide Motor Pulleys for the 15 - 20mm wide HTD 5M STRONGBELTs we use as standard, guaranteeing a much stronger power delivery.

Two 3x3x12mm KEYWAYs lock the Axle shaft at both ends (1 to the Rotor & 1 to the Motor Pulley), eliminating any & all "Motor slip", & providing maximum performance to the rider, while gaining critical data for the VESC speed controller.

The Heavy Duty & high quality power cables use 4mm Gold Plated Bullet Connectors to connect to a power source. 

 

FULL CAGE Motor protection - Fits Motor Fan & Coloured Stainless Steel Filters

TRAMPA's FULL cover Motor Protection CAGE has been skillfully CNC Machined from a solid Rod of very strong DELRIN Plastic (original DUPONT material) & is one very strong piece. 

This Full Cage you see is the second generation of Full motor protection cages, the 2nd gen is upgraded with a Hollow end & enables a MOTOR COOLING FAN to fit perfectly tight within the angled sides of the Super Strong Delrin housing & as the motors spin faster & faster this draws more & more air through the motor housing bringing much sort after cooling in many instances. 

The Full cover Cage should be lined with any 1 of 10 different colour painted Stainless Steel Mesh's. The MESH gauge is so small (0.15mm) that any tiny particles that can pass through the filter are smaller than the space of that in the air gap between the Magnets & Stator in the motor, so any tiny particles small enough to pass effectively pass straight though your motor extending operating life by reducing wear on the motor. 

The Motor Cooling Fan can fit to any 63mm TRAMPA motor when fitted to the HALF CAGE Motor filters (Check there is space in the motor mounts) & the fan fits perfectly with the Full Cage with the 6376 Motors. 6386 Motors too long, 6364 not long enough...

The Full cover Cage fits to all of TRAMPA's Mountain Board Motor Mounts. When fitting to Spur Gear Drive Mounts you should use 6x very special M3.5x12mm TORX Pan Head EJOT plastic thread cutting Bolts which cut its own thread as its turned & bites into the Delrin plastic for the best secure fit, or if you are screwing into any of the BELT drive motor mounts, Pro Belt Drive or Open Belt Drive, you should use the equally special 6x M3x10 Countersunk TORX EJOT Bolts to get the very best fit!

MkII FULL Motor Protection Cover & MESH FILTER - SILVER

Pairing with the new MKII Delrin Motor Housings, these fans secure to the ends of 6376 Motors, creating a cooling airflow around the motors - reducing running motor temp, and increasing efficiency!

After many different designs and prototypes, this shape has proved the most efficient at creating an airflow that made a real difference to the motors’ performance.
Attaches to the end of motors using 5x M3x16mm Countersunk bolts.

The KEYWAY connects between the Motor Pulley & the Motor Axle Shaft to eliminate slip under power 3x3x12mm

TRAMPA's Motor Axle Shaft to Pulley KEYWAY measures 3 x 3 x 8mm. It connects into the Motor Pulley when mounted onto the motor Axle Shaft & is used to center the pulley on the Axle & to assist in delivering all the power from the motor without slip! This KEYWAY will fit to all TRAMPA motors amongst others.

TRAMPA's Axle length measures 38.5mm (from motor housing to end of shaft) & has a Diameter of 8mm. The centre of the key (3 x 3 x 8mm) sits 16.70mm away from the Motor front. Front side of Motor to Center of Key! Deduct 4mm & you have the length from front side of motor to the start of key....

Spur Gear Drive CUSTOM Motor Pulley - c45 HARDENED STEEL

SPUR GEAR DRIVE Motor Mounts can run using Helical or Straight-cut pulleys.

Helical Motor Pulleys give a gear ratio of 1:5.8 when paired with the 58 tooth Helical Slave Pulley. The Helical shape allows for more surface contact between the Slave & Motor Pulley Teeth, creating a quiet & efficient drive. 

Straight-cut Motor pulleys pair with a 59 tooth Slave Pulley, giving a ratio of 1:5.9 – meaning there will be a tad more power when accelerating in comparison to the Helicals. However, due to less surface-contact between the gears, Straight-cuts are much louder when riding along (although we’ve found some mad people who like/prefer the noise!).

Mountainboard Motor Mount V-Ring TUB Seals - Fits both BELT & SPUR Gear Drive Motor Mounts

This rubber seal fits to the PRO BELT DRIVE & the SPUR GEAR DRIVE, and prevents dust & dirt from getting inside the motor mounts. Like many parts, you should check over & clean this seal after every few rides, to ensure it’s doing its job, and it isn’t on it’s last legs!

When installing this seal, be sure that the ‘V-side’ of the seal is facing outwards, towards the tub. You may need to get a small knife or ruler to slip behind and reposition it as you go.

Mountainboard Motor Mount Truck Connector

Works with PRO BELT & SPUR GEAR Drives.
The Clamp housing slips over the axels of Precision CNC’d Vertigo Trucks, ensuring the drivetrain sits at the correct angle.
Working in conjunction with the Conical Clamp, when connected together the housing squeezes the clamp to the hanger, securely attaching the drivetrain to the trucks.

M6 Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut - Fixes Bindings & Trucks to Deck

Introducing TRAMPA's M6 (6mm Thread) A4 Grade Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M6 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts

This Nut is used to fix to the Regular shaped M6 Bolts that hold the TRUCKS to the DECK for the HOLYPRO Decks & also for the countersunk bolts connecting the L BRACKETS TO the DECKs. Use an 10mm spanner or SOCKET for a Ratchet Driver to tighten the Nut onto the Bolt. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!

7/16ths Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Axle HALF nut (W7/16-20T UNF) - Fits to 12mm Axles

This very special 7/16ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nyloc HALF NUT is custom made specially to fit the TRAMPA products. Half nut means - half as the size of a regular nut, so half the size = half the weight of a normal nut.. By using Half nuts on the axles reduces the over all length of the axle & kingpin therefore further reducing weight in the Truck! A few Grams here & a few grams there soon adds up & makes all the difference to the total Truck & consequently deck weight, specially in critical areas of the deck such as the wheels area, where a few grams makes all the difference...

This very special 3/8ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Half Nut official factory measurements are  W7/16 - 20T - UNF. This Nut is used to hold the wheels onto the axles of the Spring Trucks fitted with 12mm axles. The Nut is fitted as standard with the world renowned NYLOC System. The Nyloc "locks the Nut onto the Bolt" eliminating vibration, keeping your nuts tighter for longer!

Use a 16mm or 5/8thths of an Inch spanner to tighten / loosen the Nut onto the Axle or Kingpin. Do not overtighten the nut & make sure the wheel can spin freely but does not rattle & do not crush your bearings. Being Marine Grade Stainless Steel this nut will not rust you! Always ensure all ur nuts are tight before you ride!

Wheel support spacer for all TRAMPA Wheels on 12mm ATB Axles - CNC precision 12mm x 16mm x 18.2mm - SILVER

This special Spacer measures 12mm (id) x 16mm (od) x 18.2mm (long) & has 2 uses!. It is firstly known as the Bearing Support Spacer as this Spacer fits between the Bearings of a 6 Spoked HYPA Hub, (when mounting the HYPA wheel onto 12mm Axles) & secondly it is also known as the AXLE SUPPORT SPACER as this spacer is also used to position any of the TRAMPA wheels in the perfect position onto the axles of 12mm TRAMPA Spring trucks....

PRECISION Shim spacer - Bridges the tiny gaps between bearings on 12mm axles - 12 x 16 x 1mm

This little STAINLESS STEEL Shim Spacer is precision made. It ensures maximum performance to the wheels & nuts. Made from Marine grade stainless steel it will not rust on you! It is used to hold the bearings in the perfect position & also to bridge tiny gaps on the axles, ensuring an accurate fit with NO rattles!

The Shim spacer slips onto the Axle, fitting either side of the Bearings when the wheel is being fitted onto 12mm axles.

This tiny spacer positions the wheel perfectly on the axle, holding the Bearing in the best possible place to help achieve maximum spin rate for the bearing & wheel. Its little parts like these that suffer the most amount of abuse, especially when they are used in the harsh conditions that they are. The  INFINITY Baseplate will fit to all of the TRAMPA Spring Truck Hangers but is designed specifically to work in conjunction with the Mini Spring Hanger as it houses a NEW Dual Spring Adjuster position! When the Springs are moved to the new inside position, the new location allows the rider to turn the board very very easily, making it perfect for fast carve riding on all kinds of terrain. The  INFINITY Baseplate is, as its name suggests, designed & built to last forever! Aircraft grade 6061 Aluminum is forced through a Die to create our re-enforced extruded profile. Extruding Aluminum ensures consistent high quality strength. Once Extruded the Baseplate is T6 Heat Treated. Heat treating extruded aluminum fuses the molecules even closer together making it as strong as possible, enabling the INFINITY Baseplate to easily cope with the extreme stresses of all types of off road boarding.

Once Heat Treated, the profile has its fixing holes punched into position & then its Bead Polished in preparation to be Anodised Silver. Once the colour has dried, the Baseplate is then returned to the factory for the precision CNC Machine to accurately mill the Kingpin holes, giving the exact precision required for constructing the Truck.

16 inch wide CNC finished INFINITY Motor Mount Hanger with 12mm SOLID Steel Axles - connects with all Spring Truck Baseplates & Mountainboard Motor Mounts

The INFINITY HANGER is the strongest SPRING TRUCK Hanger in the TRAMPA product range! To ensure the maximum strength possible the hanger body is made from FORGED ALUMINUM and is one solid piece - with no weight saving holes !

These Hangers have been CNC'd for precise and secure motor mount attachment.

The Axles have also been HEAT TREATED. Heat treating steel makes it substantially stronger & more resistant to impact. 12mm Solid Steel Axles are slightly heavier than alternatives displayed on the TRAMPA website, but they are by far the strongest Axles in the TRAMPA range. Marine Grade Stinless steel GRUB SCREWS help keep the Axles locked into the correct place within the Hanger.

A CNC milling machine is used & guarantee's to drill the Kingpin Holes accurately. Ensuring the Kingpin Holes are accurately placed guarantees the best performance to the rider, as well making the truck easy to assembly & service. The Infinity Hanger is EDP painted MATT BLACK for metal protection & colour coordinating good looks before the CNC work is carried out.

The Infinity Hanger measures 16 Inches in total width. When the wheels are fitted to the Hanger, the board has a center wheel width of 14 Inches. The Infinity hanger will fit to all TRAMPA Baseplates.

TRAMPA's Infinity Hanger uses 2x 18.2mm x 12mm SPACERS (1 either side). The spacer slips onto the axles, leaving the perfect space to mount the TRAMPA wheels accurately. Use the 7/16ths of an inch Axle Nuts to lock the wheels into place on the axle.

Kingpin bushings push into the Kingpin holes, in both the Hanger & the Baseplate. When all the bushings are in position, push the Baseplate over the Hanger and into position so that all the Kingpin holes line up. When this is the case you will be able to push the kingpin, from the front to the truck to the back, through the holes in the assembly, connecting them all together. Remember to add the washer onto the kingpin before sliding into the assembly.

Custom Kingpin for Spring Trucks - M8x80mm Nikle Plated, Stainless Steel or TITANIUM

This M8 x 80mm Spring Truck Kingpin is used to connect the Hanger & the Baseplate on the TRAMPA'S SPRING & MINI SPRING Trucks. By using an 8mm Kingpin we have managed to save weight whilst retaining all the strength necessary for the job, by using high quality metals!

This M8 x 80mm Kingpin connects into an M6 Nut. You'll need a 5mm Allen key to hold the Kingpin & a 10mm spanner to tighten/loosen your M6 Kingpin Nut.

This Kingpin pushes through plastic bushings before being placed into position in the Truck System. The Plastic bushings allow the metal parts (Hanger & Baseplate) to move inside each other without allowing the metal parts to touch or wear out. The plastic bushings will wear out over time and use and will eventually perish and need replacing. SO, make sure your Bushings are always in good working order after riding riding or when upgrading your Kingpin, it might be time to replace them too due to the unavoidable wear and tear of moving mountainboard parts.

These Kingpins lives up to TRAMPA's incredibly high quality standards, but it's always handy to have a spare just in case you do break one out on a ride....

The Bushings allow the movement (steering) without wearing out the metal parts. The Kingpin bushings are a small item & are subjected to a lot of forces & stress, through regular use they will ultimately wear out & need replacing. Depending on what surface you are riding on & the nature of your riding style will depend on how long these bushings will last you.

To make sure your trucks are always performing at their best you should keep some spare on the shelf at home & inspect these tiny bushings regular basis (preferably before riding) & in particular replace any that are showing signs of wear & then even if they are not broken from time to time replace them anyway...

The difference between the four bushings is the thickness of the base. The different base sizes are 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm. 2.5mm is the standard size we work to. As all trucks have 4 bushings this .5mm difference in each of the bushing bases allows us to bridge a maximum distance of 2mm (4x.05mm=2m) resolving any foreseeable problems.

TRAMPA's SPRINGS are coiled to precision & fit into the TRAMPA Spring Trucks perfectly. They easily squeeze into the space between the Baseplate & Hanger & being made to measure they are firstly very easy to fit with no clamps or tools required to squueze them into position & secondly to be super responsive to the rider.!  Once the spring assembly is fitted correctly the steering resistance is taken up instantly!

Our Springs have been designed to work in perfect harmony with the TRAMPA DAMPA's & TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER providing maximum performance from the "Spring assembly" to the rider. The DAMPA's drop into the SPRING & the SPRING RETAINERS seal the ends of the spring, holding the DAMPA in exact position to be pre-loaded & squeezed into the truck. Using just a little bit of muscle, squeeze the loaded spring into the truck, then lock the spring into position using the Spring Adjuster & M5 x 12mm Countersunk Bolt. The TRAMPA spring Truck steering system is highly responsive & totally customisable by interchanging the DAMPA's to harder Urethane. Spring Retainer - Specially designed to work in harmony with the Dampa & spring

TRAMPA's very own & very special re-enforced Spring retainer. Specifically shaped to fit tightly inside the TRAMPA springs & snugly hold the Trampa Dampa in the exact position to give precision steering to the rider. Made by Injection Moulding using original Dupont Materials, with an extra wide Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Flanged Insert seated internally, re-enforcing the Retainer. The Extra Strength of the re-enforced flange, eliminates the need for a very fiddly fitting washer, that is still found in the MBS and Scrub boards today.

Designed to work in harmony with the TRAMPA spring and TRAMPA Dampa to help create immediate resistance from your steering system. With TRAMPA Embossed around the rim of the retainer - you'll have performance with pimpness!

The TRAMPA DAMPA is a Urethane Elastomer that fits inside the Spring of a Truck. Its purpose is to support the Spring & give extra resistance during steering. Its clever design has three balls stacked & connected on-top of each other. The middle ball is slightly fatter than the outer two, during steering they all compress against each other giving greater feed back in your turns. This stacked design gives a fantastic progressive feel to steering.

By varying the SHORE DUROMETER (Rubber Hardness) strength of the Urethane mixture, we can control the amount of movement in the DAMPA. This in turn allows the rider to custom tune the resistance of their steering perfect to their requirements. The spheres of the DAMPA fit perfectly into the cup of the specially made TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER which is the part that locates & locks the Spring in the the TRAMPA SPRING TRUCKSand they instantly start to work with the slightest movement from the rider. TRAMPA DAMPA's work in harmony with the rider, supplying the perfect amount of steering resistance whilst eliminating all chances of speed wobble. Now available in 5 different steering resistance's for all levels of rider out there, Orange DAMPA's are for easy steering, whilst White DAMPA's are for the totally committed! 

Turning the Spring Adjuster clockwise pre-loads the tension in the Spring and DAMPA. This can be adjusted on the fly to suit the terrain & conditions. Turning the spring adjuster too much will put pressure on the DAMPA & eventually it may split. Rather than putting too much pressure into the DAMPA, consider up-grading the DAMPA to a harder Shore Durometer as this will most likely increase your performance than over tightening a DAMPA that's not stiff enough for you. Spring Adjuster - Marine Grade Stainless Steel

TRAMPA's very own & very special SPRING ADJUSTER is made using A4 MARINE GRADE STAINLESS STEEL & is guaranteed never to rust on you! The Spring adjuster is fitted to the trucks once the springs have been pushed into position. The spring adjuster pre-tensions the steering suitable for the rider’s requirements. We designed the Spring Adjuster to be slightly shorter in length than other brands’, to avoid  the tip of the adjuster poking through the internal of the Spring Retainer, and interfering with the performance of the DAMPA located on the inside of the Retainer.

Should you need extra resistance from your steering because you wish to ride fast, or if you need more steering because the course is twisty, then you can very easily & quickly adjust the resistance of your steering by simply turning the spring adjuster in the correct direction. To get the most out of your trucks on changeable terrain, simply use a 4mm Allen Key to make your adjustments. Winding the Spring Adjuster clockwise increases the steering resistance, which in turn restricts wobble at high speed. Turning the Adjuster anti-clockwise loosens the steering allowing a more carvey ride.  

DO NOT over tighten your Spring Adjuster, as this may crush your DAMPA. If you need more steering resistance upgrade your DAMPA's & do not over tighten!

If you already have the CNC Hanger from TRAMPA, (Which is fitted as standard when you have the a Pro Belt Mountainboard) then this Motor Mount kit will assemble directly to the hanger.

Any of the TRAMPA Motors will fit into this Motor Mount.

The motor protection cages do not need to be used if you wish to fit larger sized motors.

Made from T6 Aluminum, Carbon Fibre & Stainless steel, the finish is very sexy

Spur Gear Drives Motor Mounts use a low gear ratio giving amazing acceleration & torque similar to that of a Motor Cross bike, loads of bottom end power, perfect for blasting out of a corner, climbing a loose surfaced hill & all out performance in the woods!

POM Gears Have ratio of 1-5.8/9 & are much lighter than the much stronger Steel pulleys & therefore not so suitable for heavier riders. There is 1 tooth extra when comparing the STRAIGHT-CUT POM to the HELICAL-CUT POM Pulleys. The Straight cut will give you the fastest acceleration & can be considered as a little noisy compared to the slightly faster Helical, but for me the noise is like music to the ears... :-)
Heavier or hard on the equipment riders should certainly take the steel Gears.
