VERTIGO Baseplate GUNMETAL - T6 Aluminum Anodised & CNC lightened - Black logo

The TRAMPA VERTIGO BASEPLATE is a CNC Milled light weight version of the original INFINITY Baseplate. Weighing in at only 128g each, they are 25% lighter than the Original INFINITY Baseplate, but compared weight to strength, the VERTIGO BASEPLATES are the lightest / strongest in the TRAMPA range!

The VERTIGO range of products are designed for advancing riders who are demanding low weight & high performance from their equipment. Tried & tested by the TRAMPA Lab-Rats (i mean TRAMPA Team riders), the VERTIGO Baseplates will not fail you. In order to make our Baseplates so strong we use Aircraft grade (6061) Aluminum which is hydraulically extruded it through a custom made Die. It comes out the other side of the machine like playdoh, as one long piece, in the profile of our re-enforced Baseplate.

Extruding Aluminum ensures consistent strength throughout the profile. Once Extruded the profile is then sent to be T6 Heat Treated. T6 Heat Treating Extruded Aluminum fuses the molecules of the metal together tighter than they already are, making it even stronger than before, enabling the VERTIGO Baseplate to easily cope with the extreme stresses of Off Road Riding without the fear of problems & whilst looking extremely stylish! ;-)

Once its Heat Treated, the extruded profile is then sliced & diced into the Baseplate shape. Using a mould to position the Baseplate, the Baseplate mounting holes are punched into the correct position & the Baseplate is then sent away to be "Bead" polished & prepared for the colour coordinating Anodising process & Stylish TRAMPA logo to be added. Once the Anodising has dried the Baseplate is sent to the CNC factory for its final process. The high precision machine accurately mills out the excess material of the body, reducing weight & leaving a pimped out TWO TONE APPEARANCE behind. The CNC Machine is also used to accurately mill out the Kingpin holes in order to give the precision required for constructing the complete Truck.

All Terrain Board Bearings (12 x 28 x 8mm) RED sidewalls with Embossed Logo ABEC 5 6001 2RS

TRAMPA's very own Mountainboard Bearings measure 12 x 28 x 8mm & will fit in to all of the Hubs that TRAMPA has to offer. 

TRAMPA's precision made Bearings are polished to an internationally recognised ABEC 7 quality. (ABEC 3-5 is recognised as the industry standard). ABEC 7 polishing gives you a super smooth, super fast ride with extendend free rolling & top end roll speeds.

The Bearings are designed to fit TRAMPA wheels directly to 12mm axles, however using Bearing Reducer Spacers you are able to make 6001-2RS Bearings fit to Mini Spring Truck or 12FIFTIES Truck which both use 9.525mm Axles... Using Bearing reducer sleeves on 9.525mm Axles gives a very neat flush finish to the assembly insuring your Bearings spin freely.

Mountainboard Bearings are officially known as 6001 2RS Bearings. 6001 tells you the bearings size whilst 2RS means the bearing has 2 Removable Sides. During production the rubber coated sidewalls are inserted into the Outer raceway & are in contact with the inner raceway, they protect the single row of lubricated ball bearings housed within the enclosed raceways from the ingress of moisture, dust & dirt, retaining the pre-filled grease within the bearing, maintaining maximum performance to the board & rider for as long as possible. The rubber coated sidewalls come in RED, BLUE & BLACK or CERAMIC GREEN & are embossed with the TRAMPA logo proving the Top Quality!

The sidewalls are removable so you can service your bearings... Servicing your bearings on a regular basis will ensure they run well for you. Remove your wheels & take out your bearings, then using a pointy object simply pick off one side of the bearings & pop them into some solvent or fuel to dissolve any grease, i use an old tooth brush to rub the bearings gently, hopefully removing all the dirt that gets in... I pop them into another pot of clean fuel & make sure the fuel stays clean so i know the bearings are clean.. Once clean i take them out, placing onto some tissue or similar to dry out, you can rub them or blow them dry with an air line which is fun as they mae a whizzy noise! once dry i add a few tiny drops of sewing machine oil & place the bearing, open side into the wheel leaving the 1 side that still has the rubber sidewall in the outer position protecting your bearings from the further ingress of dirt getting in.... Repeat according to your riding demands, more riding = more servicing if you want best performance!

M4 x 40mm Socket Capped Bolt - Marine Grade Stainless steel with locking paste

TRAMPA's M4 x 40mm Socket Capped Bolt is made using A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. This very special Bolt is specifically made for TRAMPA & is used to assemble the TRAMPA SUPERSTAR HUBS. The socket capped head of the Bolt screws neatly though the Spokes & into the fixing point in the Rim of the SUPERSTAR HUB eventually screwing  into the M4 nut on the other side easly.

Using Marine Grade Stainless Steel, means these Bolts will never rust on you! They can cope with the most harsh of weather conditions & they laugh in the face of sandy/salty beaches or muddy freeride tracks, which do turn other manufacturers Nuts & Bolts into corrosive rusting wrecks! As well as being Non Corrosive all of the TRAMPA Bolts are diped in  BLUE THREAD LOCKING PASTE to ensure an extra strong secure fix between the Nut & the Bolt.

Kingpin Bushings 2.5mm Base - for Spring Trucks

The precision made Kingpin Bushings locate the Kingpin in a wear-free position between the hanger & Baseplate

The Kingpin bushings are a small item & are subjected to a lot of forces and through normal/regular use they will ultimately need replacing over time. Depending on what surface you are riding on will depend on how long these bushings will last you. So to make sure your trucks are always performing at their best inspect these Bushings regularly (preferably before riding) & in particular replace any that are showing signs of wear & from time to time replace them anyway...

The difference between the four bushings is the thickness of the base. The different base sizes are 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm. 2.5mm is the standard size we work to. As all trucks have 4 bushings this .5mm difference in each of the bushing bases allows us to bridge a maximum distance of 2mm (4x.05mm=2m) resolving any foreseeable problems.

GREEN TRAMPA DAMPA - 75a Shore - 2 Star Regular steering

The TRAMPA DAMPA is a Urethane Elastomer that fits inside the Spring of a Truck. Its purpose is to support the Spring & give extra resistance during steering. Its clever design has three balls stacked & connected on-top of each other. The middle ball is slightly fatter than the outer two, during steering they all compress against each other giving greater feed back in your turns. This stacked design gives a fantastic progressive feel to steering.

By varying the SHORE DUROMETER (Rubber Hardness) strength of the Urethane mixture, we can control the amout of movement in the DAMPA. This in turn allows the rider to custom tune the resistance of their steering perfect to their requirements. The spheres of the DAMPA fit perfectly into the cup of the specially made TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER which is the part that locates & locks the Spring in the the TRAMPA SPRING TRUCKSand they instantly start to work with the slightest movement from the rider. TRAMPA DAMPA's work in harmony with the rider, supplying the perfect amount of steering resistance whilst eliminating all chances of speed wobble. Now available in 5 different steering resistance's for all levels of rider out there, Yellow DAMPA's are for easy steering, whilst White DAMPA's are for the totally committed! 

Turning the Spring Adjuster clockwise pre-loads the tension in the Spring and Dampa. This can be adjusted on the fly to suit the terrain & conditions. Turning the spring adjuster too much will put pressure on the Dampa & eventually it may split. Rather than putting too much pressure into the Dampa, consider up-grading the Dampa to a harderShore Durometer as this will most likely increase your perfomace than overtightening a Dampa thats not stiff enough for you. VERTIGO Brake Hanger - HOLLOW Axles modifed to fit MAGURA Hydraulic brakes

The VERTIGO BRAKE / E-DRIVE HANGER is a slimmed down light weight version of the Infinity Brake / E-Drive Hanger. To ensure the maximum strength possible the Hanger body is made from FORGED ALUMINUM & comes to us as one solid piece!

The VERTIGO BRAKE / E-DRIVE HANGER is CNC miilled to cut out the bulk of the weight whilst retaining the majority of its strength & allowing the Magura brakes or the new TRAMPA E-DRIVE gearing system to be mounted. The VERTIGO Hanger is fitted with 12mm HOLLOW STEEL Axles. The Axles are HEAT TREATED. Heat treating steel makes it substantially stronger & more resistant to impact. Hollow Steel Axles are substantially lighter than than Solid steel Axles.

CNC milling guarantees precision work. Ensuring the Kingpin Holes are accurately placed guarantee's the best performance to the rider as well as making the truck easy to assembly & service.  Whilst the Hanger is at the CNC factory, the workers modify the back of the hanger by milling a flat surface (so we can mount the equipment flush against the hanger) and then drilling an extra hole & inserting a thread for fixing. A small cradle is drilled at the top of the hanger to elliminate movement. We are able to fix the MAGURA Braking system or the NEW TRAMPA E-DRIVE sytem into this thread & cradle, making a very strong fix between the two. Your braking system is very powerful, it needs a good strong mounting point for max performance.. In order to give the "Two Tone Pimp Finish" the VERTIGO Brake / E-Drive Hanger is Anodised  GLOSS BLACK for metal protection & colour coordinating good looks before the CNC work is done.

The VERTIGO Brake Board / E-Drive Hanger measures 16 Inches in total width. When the wheels are fitted to the Hanger, the board has a "center wheel width" of 15 Inches.

8 Inch Regular Inner Tube made by PRIMO - 200x50mm

PRIMO's own 8 Inch Inner Tube has dimensions of 200mm (outer diameter) x 50mm (width) & will fit into all known 8 inch Tyres & ATB hubs on the market!

The CST PRIMO Inner Tube incorporates slightly thicker rubber into its manufacture process which means the tube is slightly heavier than alternatives but does allow the rider to inflate slightly higherThis extra thickness also gives some extra resistance to punctures, but punctures suck, so always carry a spare inner tube when you are riding as you never know when you might get one.  

The PRIMO Tube uses a 90º Brass Inflation valve which will not rust on you & comes as you would expected with a plastic "anti dust" valve cap!

8mm STAINLESS STEEL king pin for Spring trucks

This M8 x 80mm STAINLESS STEEL Spring Truck Kingpin is used to connect the Hanger & the Baseplate on the TRAMPA INFINITY, VERTIGO or ULTIMATE Trucks. By using an 8mm Kingpin we have managed to save loads of weight whilst retaining all the strength necessary for the job by using high quality metals true to our word!

This M8 x 80mm Kingpin connects through the truck & into an M6 Nut. You'll need a 4mm Allen key to hold the Kingpin & a 10mm spanner to tighten/loosen your M6 Kingpin Nut.

This Kingpin pushes through Plastic Bushings before being placed into position in the Truck System. The Plastic bushings allow the metal parts (Hanger & Baseplate) to move inside each other without allowing the metal parts to touch or wear out. The Plastic Bushings will wear out over time & will eventually perish & need replacing. SO, make sure your Bushings are always in good working order after riding riding or especially when upgrading your Kingpin, it might be time to replace them too due to the unavoidable wear & tear of moving mountainboard parts.

This Kingpin lives up to TRAMPA's incredibly high quality standards, but it's always handy to have a spare just in case you do break one out on a ride.... Upgrade ur Kingpin by fitting the TRAMPA TITANIUM Kingpin which will save you loads of weight & fit into all of the TRAMPA Spring Trucks!

M4 Nyloc Nut - Marine Grade stainless steel Nylock Nut - Hub Nuts

Introducing TRAMPA's M4 (4mm Shaft) A4 Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M4 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. The NYLOCK thread locking security System is fitted as standard to all TRAMPA Nuts

This Nut is used to fix to tighten to the M4 Socket Capped Bolts that hold the HYPA & SUPERSTAR hubs together. To fit the nuts M4 use an 8mm spanner or  8mm Ratchet Socket to turn the Nut onto the Bolt whilst holding the bolt with a 3mm Allen Key. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!

M6 Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut - Fixes Bindings & Trucks to Deck

Introducing TRAMPA's M6 (6mm Thread) A4 Grade Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Nut. This Nylock Nut will fit to all M6 Bolts regardless of their length. This A4 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Nut will never rust on you! It is fitted with the world renowned NYLOCK System (Nylock is a nylon locking system where Nylon is pasted into the threads of the nut so that when the bolt is tightened into the nut the nylon grabs the thread of the bolt holding it locking it in the thread ensuring things do not vibrate loose or fall off when being ridden on rough terrain like that which a Mountain or Kiteboard endures. This Nut is used to fix to the Regular shaped M6 Bolts that hold the TRUCKS to the DECK for the HOLYPRO Decks & also for the countersunk bolts connecting the L BRACKETS TO the DECKs. Use an 10mm spanner or SOCKET for a Ratchet Driver to tighten the Nut onto the Bolt. Always ensure your Nuts & Bolts are tight before you ride!

7/16ths Nut - Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Axle HALF nut (W7/16-20T UNF) - Fits to 12mm Axles

This very special 7/16ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nyloc HALF NUT is custom made specially to fit the TRAMPA products. Half nut means - half as the size of a regular nut, so half the size = half the weight of a normal nut.. By using Half nuts on the axles reduces the over all length of the axle & kingpin therefore further reducing weight in the Truck! A few Grams here & a few grams there soon adds up & makes all the difference to the total Truck & consequently deck weight, specially in critical areas of the deck such as the wheels area, where a few grams makes all the difference...

This very special 3/8ths of an inch Marine Grade Stainless steel Nylock Half Nut official factory measurements are  W7/16 - 20T - UNF. This Nut is used to hold the wheels onto the axles of the Spring Trucks fitted with 12mm axles. The Nut is fitted as standard with the world renowned NYLOC System. The Nyloc "locks the Nut onto the Bolt" eliminating vibration, keeping your nuts tighter for longer!

Use a 16mm or 5/8thths of an Inch spanner to tighten / loosen the Nut onto the Axle or Kingpin. Do not overtighten the nut & make sure the wheel can spin freely but does not rattle & do not crush your bearings. Being Marine Grade Stainless Steel this nut will not rust you! Always ensure all ur nuts are tight before you ride!

TRAMPA's SUPERSTAR Hub is a technically designed super-strength masterpiece of circular lushness & has been created for those who insist on fitting only the very best equipment! SUPERSTAR Hubs are available in loads of different Rim & Spoke colour combinations, its almost impossible to decide the combination you like the most!

The SUPERSTAR hub handles the highest inflation pressures on the market, which in turn increases roll speeds giving the rider the advantage over the competition, making them perfect for the best riders, i mean the insane! SUPERSTAR Rims are produced using original 'DuPont' materials (the best), whilst the STAR SPOKES are made using a custom made mould to give us an Extruded Aluminum profile that gets T6 Heat treated (Super Strength Aero-grade quality) & then sliced to requirement.

Wheel support spacer for all TRAMPA Wheels on 12mm ATB Axles - CNC precision 12mm x 16mm x 18.2mm

This special Spacer measures 12mm (id) x 16mm (od) x 18.2mm (long) & has 2 uses!. It is firstly known as the Bearing Support Spacer as this Spacer fits between the Bearings of a 6 Spoked HYPA Hub, (when mounting the HYPA wheel onto 12mm Axles) & secondly it is also known as the AXLE SUPPORT SPACER as this spacer is also used to position any of the TRAMPA wheels in the perfect position onto the axles of 12mm TRAMPA Spring trucks....

TRAMPA spacers are produced as one long tube. The Tube is Heat Treated to gain extra strength & is then Bead Polished to give the metal extra surface protection & a shiny best appearance. The tube is then cut to the exact length for precision mounting. 

GUNMETAL Anodised Superstar Spoke - Extruded T6 Aluminum Heat treated & CNC Precision milled

TRAMPA SPOKES fit all SUPERSTAR & MEGASTAR Hubs. TRAMPA's Spokes are produced using the finest 6061 'Aero-Grade' Aluminum, which to maximise strength & performance are produced with the use of an Extrusion Die, which means TRAMPA spokes are made in one continuous piece before being sliced like bread to the required thickness. Before being sliced the extruded profile is T6 Heat Treated making the resulting Alloy extremely strong

Once sliced, the Raw Spokes are bead polished which not only gives a top quality finish but also removes all & any sharp edges,  before then being sent away to CNC machine to precisely mill out the 28mm O.D. bearing housing. Finally the spokes are sent to the Anodisers to have the relevant striking colours added for top surface protection.

when checking your wheels and spokes also check your spoke support spacers, O-Rings & hardware are all in good condition & ensure all of your nuts & bolts are tight before you ride!

Dupont Plastic Spoke support Spacer for the Superstar & Megastar hubs

This is the TRAMPA SUPERSTAR Spoke Support Spacer. It is used to gain extra strength for the SUPERSTAR wheel design by adding support to the Aluminum Spokes when the wheel is being used under high inflated pressures...

Precision injection moulded, using original DuPont materials, this Spacer provides essential support for the Spokes in the Superstar hubs. There is a Deep Shelf on the Rim of the Spacer which pushes into the internal side of the Spoke, positioning the Spacer/spoke perfectly for assembly. The thick plastic ensures a very strong support platform maximising Bearing support & spin rate always....

Ensure all your nuts & bolts are tight before riding!!

Zinc plated Sprung Steel Compression Springs - SILVER

TRAMPA's SPRINGS are coiled to precision & they fit into the space between the Baseplate & Hanger perfectly. This is for easy fitting & to be super responsive to the rider. Being made to measure they are very easy to fit & no clamps or tools are required to squeeze them into positionTRAMPA Springs are available in a selection of Powder-coated colours BUT this one has been Nickel plated for shiny good looks & of course for best surface coating protection.

Our Springs have been designed to work in perfect harmony with the TRAMPA DAMPA's & TRAMPA SPRING RETAINER providing maximum performance from the "Spring assembly" to the rider. The DAMPA's drop into the SPRING & the SPRING RETAINERS seal the ends of the spring, holding the DAMPA in exact position to be pre-loaded & squeezed into the truck. Using just a little bit of muscle, squeeze the loaded spring into the truck, then lock the spring into position using the Spring Adjuster & M5 x 12mm Countersunk Bolt. The TRAMPA spring Truck steering system is highly responsive & totally customisable by interchanging the DAMPA's to harder Urethane. Other Mountain Board brands springs will not fit the TRAMPA Trucks as they are a different in dimension.

For best practice & to take the most life from your springs, turn them 90 degree every now and then and then the spring will remain balanced

Spring Retainer - Specially designed to work in harmony with the Dampa & spring

TRAMPA's very own & very special re-enforced Spring retainer. Specifically shaped to fit tightly inside the TRAMPA springs & snugly hold the Trampa Dampa in the exact position to give precision steering to the rider. Made by Injection Moulding using original Dupont Materials, with an extra wide Marine-Grade Stainless Steel Flanged Insert seated internally, re-enforcing the Retainer. The Extra Strength of the re-enforced flange, eliminates the need for a very fiddly fitting washer, that is still found in the MBS and Scrub boards today.

Designed to work in harmony with the TRAMPA spring and TRAMPA Dampa to help create immediate resistance from your steering system. With TRAMPA Embossed around the rim of the retainer - you'll have performance with pimpness!

Spring Adjuster - Marine Grade Stainless Steel

TRAMPA's very own & very special SPRING ADJUSTER is made using A4 MARINE GRADE STAINLESS STEEL & is guaranteed never to rust on you! The Spring adjuster is fitted to the trucks once the springs have been pushed into position. The spring adjuster pre-tensions the steering suitable for the rider’s requirements. We designed the Spring Adjuster to be slightly shorter in length than other brands’, to avoid  the tip of the adjuster poking through the internal of the Spring Retainer, and interfering with the performance of the DAMPA located on the inside of the Retainer.

Should you need extra resistance from your steering because you wish to ride fast, or if you need more steering because the course is twisty, then you can very easily & quickly adjust the resistance of your steering by simply turning the spring adjuster in the correct direction. To get the most out of your trucks on changeable terrain, simply use a 4mm Allen Key to make your adjustments. Winding the Spring Adjuster clockwise increases the steering resistance, which in turn restricts wobble at high speed. Turning the Adjuster anti-clockwise loosens the steering allowing a more carvey ride.  

DO NOT over tighten your Spring Adjuster, as this may crush your DAMPA. If you need more steering resistance upgrade your DAMPA's & do not over tighten!

PRIMO ALPHA Lite - BLACK 8 Inch Tyre

The PRIMO ALPHA Lite tyre is a super light-weight Off-Road Tyre. Using just 2 PR of the finest grade rubber & incorporating a very high TPI under its skin combined together these secret details reduce weight considerably, making its reputation as the worlds best Off Road 8-inch Tyre! When inflated the PRIMO ALPHA Lite tyre measures 200x50mm. The Tyre incorporates a 3.75 inch Steel Band into the rim to hold everything in position & it slips onto the TRAMPA hubs perfectly. The ALPHA tyre will fit to all known hub Brands that are used for Mountainboarding & Kiteboarding. 

Made from relatively softish rubber the ALPHA tyre gives fantastic grip. Its design incorporates a wide center bead to allow & maintain straight line speed, whist its surrounding edges are beautifully sculptured wide grooves that supply high levels of grip regardless of the terrain type. - This tyre really is great for all off road applications.

The more you inflate your Tyres the faster you will roll!  The official maximum inflation pressure set by the factory for the ALPHA Tyre is 50psi, but the ALPHA Tyres are made so well & the TRAMPA Hubs are so strong that our Crash test Dummies (I mean Team Riders) have been known to inflate these Tyres well beyond their recommended pressures with no problems to mention. Over inflating your tyres may lead to an explosion which could seriously injure you. If you do decide to go beyond the max inflation pressure ensure your nuts & bolts are tight & deflate back to a regular pressure after use.

TRAMPA's MAGURA HS 11 - VERTIGO BRAKE Truck is an incredibly powerful braking system developed solely for the TRAMPA Trucks. The MAGURA Brakes give you the ability to transform your riding range, making terrain you had previously thought of as 'Off Limits' into new & easily ride-able or even dream-able terrain you just have to ride! You will quickly gain a new air of confidence in your ability by riding with the MAGURA Hydraulic brake system!

By gently squeezing the hand held brake lever this incredibly powerful braking system will progressively slow you to a halt or squeeze hard & it will skid you to a stop! Squeezing the HAND HELD BRAKE LEVER forces the MAGURA BLOOD (hydraulic fluid) through the pipe system, equally pushing the BRAKE PADS onto both of the 5mm thick Aluminum BRAKE DISKS at the same time. 10mm Brake disk mounting spacers position the Brake Disks perfectly against the mega-strong T6 Heat Treated SPOKES supplying plenty of space either side either side of the disk gaining good ventilation, maintaining cool operating temperatures & therefore eliminating Brake fade over prolonged periods of use such as long Alpine descents...

The TRAMPA VERTIGO truck is a CNC precision milled light weight version of the incredible INFINITY SPRING TRUCK! To ensure the maximum strength possible the hanger is made from FORGED ALUMINUM & it's one solid piece! The VERTIGO Hanger is fitted with 12mm HOLLOW Axles. The 12mm Hollow Axles are HEAT TREATED. Heat treating steel makes it substantially stronger, more resistant to impact & less prone to rust. 12mm Hollow Axles are without doubt the strongest/lightest Axles in the TRAMPA range. The Axles are first Glued & then Screwed with a Marine Grade Stainless Steel Grub Screw locking them in the perfect position to mount your wheel too.
